One other thing, what does QFT stand for? It seems to appear in every thread but I missed the memo explaining it.

[/ QUOTE ]

I missed this memo too. Anyone?

[/ QUOTE ]

It means Quoted For Truth.

Since this seems to have turned halfway into a wishlist thread, can I add that I hope they hurry up with draw and triple draw MTTs and SnGs?

I think the main problem with all the sites is that you shouldn't be allowed to use any aids (PokerTracker, PAHUD) whilst playing. It's OK to go over your PokerTracker AFTER the session. The casual player doesn't stand a chance and it's not a level playing field at all. You're not allowed to use computer aids in a live casino, why should you online? Never mind the UIGEA, 12-tabling computer savvy grinders using all the aids are the real threat to the future of online poker.

If you're going to allow PokerTracker whilst in play you should have a disclaimer when new players join that other players are using this and you should get one yourself. That would only be fair.

I agree 100 percent with all of this. I think many players are under the false impression that they should never lose - well, if recreational players get sheared each and every time they log in, they will not enjoy themselves and will ultimately not return (possibly bc of being busto, possibly bc they get no positive reinforcement). Truly recreational players are NOT given a good gamble online, and I think that is one of the reasons the games are (at best) not what they used to be and at worst, terrible.

put me in the 1 orbit and you are gone if you are sitting out camp. I dont care if you are letting the dog out or taking a whizz or smoking or whatever, for anything you are gunna do, if it takes longer than an orbit to do, you are an inconsiderate [censored] for sitting out. You can argue all you want otherwise, but its the truth. Get off the [censored] table and rejoin other ones when you get back. And if the table is so great that you dont wanna do that, learn how to piss in under 5 minutes (what are you, 60?) and tough out your cigarette addiction, and quit being a jackass

[/ QUOTE ]

Those who say this need to learn to play shorthanded, as any real poker player should. I mean jesus -- "I have to play 7 handed at a full ring table" -- I can't believe that people who fancy themselves to be real poker players actually think, let alone say, let alone whine about, this kind of crap. Three orbits really isn't all that long.

[/ QUOTE ]

I play shorthanded, and I still think it should be 1 orbit.

Ive been playing poker for 3 years for a living, and never once during that entire time have I needed to take any break that lasted longer than an orbit, and thats at shorthanded.

but then im not inconsiderate

Default Totally Clean Background Theme

How about an option for background theme that is JUST PLAIN? No designs, no star-streak trails, no shadings melting into other shadings, no patterns, no theme, no art, NO NOTHING? How about, well, just plain plain plain? Zero, nada, zilch, zed. Nothing is what I'm talking about, can we please get that for a background theme choice?? It would be so coool and unstressing during those long sessions....ahhhhhhh.....

Stars has one theme option called "Hyper-Simple"...but it isn't. It imposes just like all themes do. Stars does has an option for importing your own theme or something like that, but I don't know how and don't want to bother with external stuff.

It should be really easy to design a nothing theme shouldn't it? No chairs, no background. Just a plain table, player names, bet amounts/chips and cards. Just the essentials, and leave the empty space empty. Sooo easy for you to set it up, Stars...pretty please?

I was just coming with a stars software question/complaint. nice to find this thread.

I just started playing stars again after more than a year off of it. the most annoying thing about it--and one of hte most annoying things in all of online poker for me--is that when I have an action on a stars table, it does not respond to my first click on the buttons. it usually doesn't even respond to my second click. I soon find myself pounding on my mouse button 5 times rapidly for every turn on stars. (or I forget and I click once and then time out b/c it didn't register.)

anyone else have this problem? I've never had the problem at party (skins), pokerroom, bodog, full tilt, etc etc etc. and if it can't be fixed pretty much immediately, I'm through with stars.

go to 'options' then to 'advanced multi-table options' then to 'single-click activation'

everyone was complaining about this.

I think they finally added this single-click activation thing only just a few months ago.

Sounds to me like your gripe is more with multi-tabling then with poker aids. I 10 tabled at my aunts house yesterday for 3 hours with no software. I've done this on several occasions when I'm at someone elses house for a long time. Throwing an option for software to the fishy/new/bad players is just going to confuse them. I don't think that's a good thing for the online economy.

Quit rigging your software.

[/ QUOTE ]

Seriously, please stop with the rigging.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why?

This is the #1 complaint about the site, and this is a thread titled "Please list PokerStars complaints".
