[ QUOTE ]
Good to see a limit game here the usual cast of players are getting old hat - I think to many of them ate to many paint chips when they were kids I made my bones on limit but the wave of NL ruined all the good limit games love to see the good limit games back in the midwest. Bart sould realize this game is over his head and not continue to compare it to NL. [/ QUOTE ] I'm not going to profess that I am a limit holdem expert but please point out any mistakes that you think I made in analyzing play. Also, many of the viewers don't realize how hard it is to follow the action of the daily NL game commonly spread. I am not trying to toot my own horn but I was very happy with the way the show turned out last night. Limit runs 5 times faster than our normal shows and I give credit to Ronny, Isaac and Ray for giving me the ability to properly call everything that happened. Bart PS I'm going to donk off chips in the 2-4NL $800 capped game at absolute...join me if you dare... I have Paradise City running through my head... |

Bart,
I think you did a pretty good job given that you haven't played LHE in a while and have never played in a very aggressive shorthanded high limit game. One thing that stood out to me is when you were shocked at the king-high call down on an AA3AQ board. Given the opening range in LP (I think it was Yosh on the button who opened), this seems like a pretty standard call down. I was actually suprised at the small amount of super-light calldowns and turn semi-bluffs and bluffs. This game played pretty differently from a 5-6 handed 2/4+ online game (from watching and posts by Schneids and others). |

Thursday's show is more 5-10 NL with a $500 min, no max buyin. According to Bart (who wasn't there), Mark Newhouse was allegedly at the Bike playing 300-600 limit at 12:30 pm today.

Sick hand. Set over set with a str8 and flush draw in the offing. Well played. Didn't like he smooth call by Norm on the flop. Needed to push Ed out (if that is possible). But, hey, it worked.

Bart-
If Dr. Dennis leads into that flop, Maurice still moves in, but what does Steve do then? He might think Dennis may have something like overs and a diamond draw and re-raise all-in. I know you always advocate slow-playing for players of his image, but in a multi-way pot on a connected board, flopping bottom set seems like the spot to push. |
