McNutty,

I understand that people on PCP or who are reaching for what may be a firearm might require excessive force to subdue them. That is acceptable.

This guy is being knelt on by two guys and couldn't pull a gun if he wanted to. Therefore, apples and oranges.

you are your cop, it IS your job to put your life on the line to uphold the law. By your reasoning all the unarmed youth shot and killed by police is justifiable, because the cop got a bit spooked and didnt feel it was in thier job description to put thier life on the line under any circumstance.

Innocent until proven guilty, think about it.

Political correctness run amok. Female cop tries to make a solo arrest. What a mismatch.

There's a place for female officers. Taking down large men one-on-one isn't it. Anybody remember that shooting spree in the Atlanta courthouse? That started because a chick officer got overpowered by a perp she was taking to/from court.

Sorry for the highjack. But when I watched that video, I was actually rooting for the bad guy. Not really.

i think that 'nothing that happened beforehand deserves punch in the face' is true in theory, however in reality, cops are human, and theres only so much that can happen before you just react (i mean this more in the sense that the cops being bitten, rather than if he was just yelled at or whatever).

and i mean *to extrapolate on the nothing can happen that deserves that theory*, your telling me, if you were the cop and he just shot you in the leg, you wouldnt try to punch him or worse? come on. granted, it might not be right but what would you do?

Not sure if this was posted yet, but I saw the longer version of this and guy jerks his hand away when he's about to be cuffed. Defintely resisting. Him being punched in the face didn't do [censored], though. I woulda pulled out my glock and put it in his face. "WHAT'S A MATTER [censored] YOU CAN'T TALK WITH A GUN IN YOUR MOUTH??"

We give the cops the power, so let them do there jobs.

[/ QUOTE ] This attitude makes me cringe.

It's OK, as most of the people with that attitude don't know the difference between "they're","there", and "their" anyhow.

I'm actually wondering if people who misuse "there" like that originally wrote "them there", and killed the "them" in a failed attempt to sound more educated.
