Shajen,
I doubt any TE you get off the ww will produce more than Gonzo. But if you really are set on dropping him, have you tried trading him? I bet some people in your league over value him just because of his name. I bet you could get a decent WR or backup RB for him.

People in my league are borderline insane.

12 teams, performance scoring.

I have Brady/Grossman/Favre. Somebody just dropped Bledsoe. We are only allowed to hold 3 QBs. Should I drop one of mine to pick up Bledsoe?

Thanks for your comments.

Perp,

I think you are fine with the 3 you have. The only thing that makes it close is Bledsoe is playing against the Texans.

If I were you, I'd start Grossman against a bad Arizona team.

Take that with a grain of salt though, I'm a homer for the Bears.

Grossman this week seems like a good bet. I would unload Favre, though, while he still has some trade value; maybe pick up Bledsoe as a third-stringer behind Brady/Grossman?

Short Term:

Eric Johnson of the 9ers. Long term Venon Davis.

Fletcher, Watson might also be options. TEs aren't very good this year league round.

I'm a 49ers fan and stopped trusting Eric Johnson a while ago. Watson had great potential before the season but it looks like NE's offense is more run-oriented this year with the emergence of Maroney.

Jerramy Stevens may be a decent sleeper at TE.

It's not like their are many very good TEs. Of the ones taken in his league, only Colston, Gates, Winslow, Heap and Smith are better than Gonzo. This has been a pretty bad year for TEs for some reason or another. The cubbard is pretty bare when it comes to TEs this year. Witten has been bad, Troupe has Young, McMichael has been bad other than last week and Cooley is no where near as effective as last year. Miller is living with Ben's problems, etc, etc.

Johnson is a good catching TE. I prefer Davis in the long run as pointed out but when available, you'll atleast get something out of johnson most weeks but of course it won't be a ton.

I think he'd be better off sticking with Gonzalez.

Avoid Raiders players like the plagues that they are.
