Do you think my QB situation is that bad? I agree the move from Hassleback to Culpepper was a downgrade, but I got LJ in return so I had to do it. I think Warner will be a solid starter most weeks as long as he stays healthy, and I've been keeping an eye on Leinart just in case. I don't think Culpepper will have much trading value although the team I got him from took him way too early, but maybe if he has a good game i can pawn him off for someone more consistent.
There are also still plenty of starters on the WW, Pennington, Kitna, Rivers, and maybe Brees if I remember right, do you think dumping Cpep for any of these guys is a better move? I am tempted to pick up Pennington, but I'd like to see a little more than a good outing against the Titans before I dump Culpepper |

Let me give some additional info.
Yahoo. 12 man league 6 pts for TD 0.5 pts for reception 1 pt for every 10 yards receiving and rushing My WRs: DJax Hines Ward Lee Evans Burleson Toomer RB: S. Jackson McGahee T. Jones Ahman Green Stephen Davis (insurance policy) With Lee Evans not having a great week and Branch coming to Seatle to take even more receptions/TDs from my WRs DJax and Burleson, I'm getting a little nervous with my WR depth. I'm also nervous that T. Jones is going to start losing production very soon, as the suits in Chicago want their boy they spent all that money on to play more. No one thinks I should try to dump off T. Jones while I still can for a top 20 WR? Should I try to get a guy like Andre Johnson? |

i would do that, but you might want to shop taylor around to someone who needs a RB to see what you can get. However, in a 3wr league, it's probably tough to get people to part w/ legit #2 WRs for Taylor. I would do this w/ your lineup, though.

I just traded Gore and Reggie Wayne for Carson Palmer and Matt Jones.
My other RBs are Bush, Foster, Moroney, Bennet, Morris, M.Barber. I'm a little worried about depth, but we give 6 pts for all TDs plus 3pt bonus for 20-40 yarders and 6 pt bonus for 40yd+. That makes qbs who throw for lots of tds (and long td's) worth more. It was difficult parting w/ Wayne because I had him as my #3 WR coming into the year (and still do), but I like this trade. Also, this should enable me to move M.Vick to someone who is hurting at backup QB and I should be able to get a pretty legit #2 WR (Bryant, TJ, someone like that) |

Dynasty league, scoring only (ie, TDs/2pt conversions, or FG/XP for kickers). Less than 10 YD TDs = 6, 10-39 YD TDs = 9, 40+ YD TDs = 12. Scoring TDs out of position (rush TDs for QBs, recieving for RBs, etc) = double points.
I give up my first round pick in next year's rookie draft for Brian Westbrook. My RBs are Caddy, Julius Jones, Frank Gore, Michael Turner and Verron Haynes, with Dom Davis on IR. Factoring in that we get double points for receiving TDs from running backs, I think Westbrook for a (hopefully low) first round rookie is a steal. Thoughts? |
