Lets make a list: Who got screwed by Party in the 1M tourney ?

I am shocked and dismayed by this. By their T&C, I should be receiving almost $2k. Instead, I get $320. Moreoever, as David points out, they are happily collecting their entry fees despite the tournament being cancelled.

This is really beyond outrageous, and I really do not know what to do.

Yes, and they even acknowledge that the blind-theft was happening with 752 left. Here's yet another email from another person at Party:

So one guy at Party says sorry, but you're only getting the $429. Mary says they recognize the blind-theft, and it's been forwarded to the "department oncerned" (sic).

But good point, David. Didn't even think about the fact that Party is happy enough with their service on this that they're keeping the $15 for the 5000+ entrants.

i'm telling them that for the first time ever they missed the forest for the trees,

the forest is running a fair game the trees is not pissing the 350 players off.

its like the wsop locked the doors with one or two players per table but let it play out for six hours.


i'm in the middle of a half hour conversation and i don't know what else to say other than party made a brutal management decision and for the first time doesn't seem to have much interest in rectifying it other than giving me a bonus.

im trying to push this farther up the food chain.

I had about 26k in chips when your software jammed yesterday with 752 players left in the Party Million. It is absolutely irrelevant that some players were apparently somehow able to continue playing and stealing all the absent players' blinds. Under your Terms and Conditions, I am entitled to 1/752nd of half of the prizepool plus my chip equity portion of the other half of the prizepool. I am also entitled to a refund of my entry fee.

As such, please immediately credit my account with the following:

1/752th of half the prizepool
My chip equity portion (when there were 752 players remaining) of the other half of the prizepool
My $15 entry fee

If you fail to do what is obviously fair here, I am removing my funds and closing my account. As you can see from my history, I have been a very high volume Party customer. I will also make the unfairness as public as possible if Party fails to do what is obviously right.

Wow, I played almost every big tourney Sunday (Stars 1 mil, Bodog 100K, and FTP 200K) except the Party million. Glad I skipped that one. Sucks balls for you guys.

I've been playing just STTs on Party, and using my winnings to fund the big MTTs on other sites. I think I'm gonna keep it that way.

I already busted out of this tourney and have no personal interest in this. But I've always enjoyed playing at Party and these continued problems are causing me, like many others, to play more frequently at other sites. I had issues with my WSOP registration. The Monster promotion is ridiculous and hurts us in cash games. The software absolutely sucks. The customer service (with the exception of a few key people) sucks.

I PMd Mike O'Malley (Party's Poker Room Manager) and alerted him to this thread, suggesting that he might very well be losing some top players over this and his involvement would go a long way in restoring some trust (not in Party, but at least in him and some of his cohorts). Hopefully he'll respond.

Yeah, I feel like I don't deserve nearly that much. I got blinded down to 4k when it was paused, returned to find all but 87 of that posted in the BB. I got a walk. Then I proceeded to win J2 vs. 86, then TT vs. 99, then won some hands without showdowns.

Meh, I guess I'll give a chunk of that to charity or something.

I got nothing...not even a freakin email back from the 5 i sent. I had 60k in chips once we hit 750. I am flat out amazed at what they are doing. I got blinded down to nothing and coulndt even relogin for some reason. I feel so cheated....this is insane
