Some good advice in this thread, and some bad advice in this thread. Talk to people who are more of an authority on the subject, i.e. doctors (remember they can't talk to anyone else about your addiction), and talk to people who have gone through what you have gone through, i.e. http://www.marijuana-anonymous.org . For what it's worth, I've talked to both, I've been off marijuana for over 9 years (after 14 years of heavy use like you), and my life has never been better.
