Table Stacked with History
Table 150 has the winners of the past three years of the H.O.R.S.E. event sitting right next to each other (there was no H.O.R.S.E. tournament in 2005). Doyle Brunson (2003) in seat 2, Scott Fischman (2004) in seat 3 and John Hennigan (2002) in seat 4. The electricity at the table is palpable.

wtf at dutch boyd playing?

NICE BANKROLL MANAGEMENT SIR

edit: unless hes being staked, but that seems like a pretty big stake. but whateva.

[/ QUOTE ]

I thought the word was that Bax is staking him for the whole series.

[/ QUOTE ]

this is not a rip at bax at all, but isn't he an online MTT player? does he really have the roll to invest in a $150,000 (or thereabouts) stake?

edit: this is actually a question, i'm not being snarky.

I wonder if they started the tournament 8 or 9 handed. The other tournament that starts today (1k Seniors NL) has almost 1,300 entered.

Must be pouring in all that announcer's money into this event. But he is known for playing in the 400/800 games over in LA.

I think the ones still listed with 1000 chips are CardPlayer "probables" and if they are listed with 50K, they may be "verified".

They have to be 8 handed, stud games can't go 9 handed.

I'm aware of that, but they've also started holdem events 10 and 11 handed. Card Player has now put up 152 remaining, which would take up 19 tables.
