[/ QUOTE ] I've tried too. When I ran out I read some of his nonfiction stuff. Fun fact: In "Asimov on Biology", I think, he describes his idea on "Gaia" about 10 years before he fictionalized it. It was in an essay on evolution. |

I didn't read the whole thread, but I'll be the loser who says Roald Dahl. Favorite is "The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar".

Sweeeeet! I've read a ton of his short stories, and of course the Charlie books. I think people forget how good he is these days, like they do with Beaumont, Charles Grant, and even Matheson.
