I know again this is gonna seem stupid and I said it twice so no ones gonna believe me but I didn't mean it I was just tremendously mad

[/ QUOTE ]
All of the true NE fans will forgive you and empathize. When I had to deal with Leonard Russell pounding up the middle or David Meggett running around like a chicken with his head cut off or the future savior of the franchise Scott Zolak taking over for Scott Secules I completely understand becoming enraged by watching a beloved franchise lose.

Gibbs and his entire staff should be instafired the second this season ends. Everyone who thought Jason Campbell was any good should be instafired. Whoever decided to trade a 3rd and 4th round pick for Brandon "2 catches this season" Lloyd instead of using them on linemen should be shot.

Umm, no. They just got killed on the road against a team that has a team that has treated every other team like roadkill, too. Did you even watch what Lloyd did in the two years prior with Ken Dorsey and Tim Rattay (and basically as the ONLY offensive threat on the team) throwing him the ball? I don't know why he hasn't worked out in WAS, but at the time it was a good move. And Campbell is hardly the problem, either. Are there any other viable QB options you have in mind?

You're wrong about the FG. It's always been considered bad form going for the FG with a big lead at the end.

[/ QUOTE ]

I have never in my life heard that.. and I have seen it happen probably hundreds of times and never seen anyone even question it.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well, you're wrong.

They asked BB about the 4th down conversion when it was 38-0.

BB: What do you want us to do? Kick a FG? It's 38-0.

lol thats pretty funny

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't understand why you guys think this is so funny. Kicking a FG on 4th and reasonable when you're up a ton is considered bad form, insulting, and it just isn't done.

No. JC is clearly not the problem. Our line is banged up and Campbell has performed admirably when given good protection.

The playcalling today was suspect, I'll give you that, but it would not have mattered.

Its Snyder who makes all these decisions and, somehow, I think he's getting better at it.

Except why did the Redskins need to spend draft picks on another receiver when they already had Moss, Randle El, and Thrash, as well as an excellent TE and the fact that they are a run-first team? Plus this year they now have McCardell and Caldwell. Our #1 and #2 WRs don't even get enough passes thrown to them (Redskins WRs have 0 TDs), whats the point of getting Lloyd again?

I did not watch the game at all so I can't comment on the score running up nonsense. But what I can comment on is that the pats fans on this board are very douchey. It's not that the people from Boston are especially bad human beings, it just seems that when a team is experiencing wild success it seems to give it's fans the credence to act as if they are somehow superior to other fans. It's a really a strange social phenomenon.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well thank you for saying we aren't bad human beings.

[/ QUOTE ]
It's not the people of Boston. It's the nature of fandom. I bet the fans of the Bulls were hard to deal with when the Bulls were an unstoppable wrecking machine. It's weird that a sports team can change the way you interact with people so much.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, this is pretty much spot on. People hate and resent winning teams.
