[/ QUOTE ] im still not sure about the 3bet though, regardless of what you always do. what is your read on villian? he bet 5xBB, i dont think a 3bet is going to make him go away. however, since you are out of position, a 3bet does seem like a good idea throwing out some hope that he will fold and you wont have to play from the SB. the 3bet definately needed to be bigger. i think i make it like 1.50 or so. if you know you played the AK hand bad, stop doing it. simple as pie. to make you feel better, check out this AK hand. this is how you are supposed to play AK. 3 betting AK seems ok, I sometimes do it and sometimes don't. I wouldn't do it against someone with a ridiculously low pfr, but most of the time you won't be behind.
tehdiceman, the hand you posted is a much different situation then losingdonkey's hand. I'm not sure what you're trying to show here. |
