I really think they do c/c there with a set just because they really want to trap you. I mean, you only beat QT/retarded bluff.. but the way you played it, you have to call the river bet.

Anyone plays on stars around 1pm-7pm EST @ 10nl?
is it me or its a nit garden?

Everytime i play afternoons im else down or breakeven.
i do win sometimes but after 40mins i start to tiltit back completely (calling all ins with ak-aq on low card boards)

I called sorta quickley but afterwords I thought about the hand a bit more. His line was just so weird. I thought about checking the turn but it felt sorta weak to me with all the diamonds out there and the drawyness of the board.

Well, the weekend has started and I've taken some sklanskyesque advice and so started playing different forms of poker. Dabbled a bit with 7-2 tripple draw (FISH CITY!), a little stud and some 5 card draw and I'm having a ball and winning! It's been so nice to take a break from the regular grinding. I can seriously recomend it as a holiday from holdem. Oh what fun [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

well long story short, i had the worst downswing of my life $ wise + buyin wise and im prolly not a winner in the 200nl stars game. i'm a 6.5ptbb life time winner in the 100nl games over 90k hands, and im taking a break from playing for a week aside from a challenge im doing but thats besides the point.

Monday-Thursday I'm normally playing between 7PM and midnight. Due to other events being scheduled, I don't get a lot of play in on Friday or Saturday night. I don't know why, but during the weekdays I can't get a big hand paid off worth a damn. On the late night Sunday shift though, it's like people are trying to hand me their money. Hell, last Sunday I had three (count 'em: three) people all-in on a flop that I check-raised with a set of 5s.
