Same place as the rest of the card files. All 8 files need to go into: C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker\Graphics\Tables\Elements. I recommend you make a new folder in \elements called Default Cards: and put the 8 original .PNG's in there, in case you ever want too use them again.

Which of those patterns do you like? Do you want to see some more varieties?

I was goofing around last night. And made this layout:

- Same layout (font, gradient, and colors) as 4.9.4
- Bigger suit markers, from 4.8
- Backs - Solid Yellow, Solid Red, and 2 of the red/black patterns that I liked.

- Tell me if you guys like these O8 cards, with the bigger suit markers, or the smaller ones on the 4.9.4. Personally, I think I like these new cards the best . But I usually do like my latest creations .

Hope you enjoy.

I guess these are :

Version 5.1
(5.0 Will be this layout, with all solid backs, if a lot of people don't care for the patterns, and want the more traditional 4 solid backs )

I'm sure this is lodged somewhere in this thread but...

Do these card mods fix the problem of the FTP community cards looking all small and gross when you make the tables slightly smaller?

No - these cards are all the same pixel sizes as the new default FT decks. There are alignment issues, when u try and oversize them. That is part of the reason why I mod these cards. I make the font for the characters, as big as I can, while still being readable, at the different pixel sizes.

There are a lot of great card mods in this thread, for the new multiple card .pngs, starting from page 37 and forward. If you only play Hold Em, try some of my version 4.6.x cards.

Have you tried the Option>Full Card? So you can see your entire hole cards? Doesn't help with the board cards, but hopefully my cards make up for that . I like it quite a bit now .

Hey fozzy, I know you've been getting a lot of requests, but I was wondering if you could take a shot at an UNO themed deck. I've tried resizing the original UNO deck in this thread for my sized tables (using cards1.png) but my photoshop skills are weak and the result isn't that good quality.

Here's a couple of pics of what a true UNO deck looks like, these style of numbers may be hard to replicate, but give it a shot if you can:

Also if you are able to make these, try making it where the 6 cards have a solid black line under the 6's, like in an actual UNO deck.

Thanks.

Any mods that u do, should be done using the cards3.png. I think I tried re-sizing an UNO deck after the FT update. I don't recall how well it turned out .

Earlier in this thread, I posted a bit of a summary, of my process I use: to take a cards3.png, modify it, and re-create a new deck from that PSD file.

I also want an UNO deck. I loved that mod, before they updated to 8 cards files. I just put it on my "ToDo" mods list, but the list is a bit out of control at this moment , and I need to finish my micro-stake bonus . But hopefully sometime soon.

edit - just looked at the old uno3.png I have, in photoshop. The deck definitely needs to be re-designed from scratch. I am a PhotoShop "Newbie" by all accounts. I went to school for auto-body design, and used Autocad, UniGraphics, CATIA, etc. for 2-d design and 3-d modeling, so it is similar but worlds apart . It is on MY list of cards I want, I also want to make a version of my 4.9 cards, but remove the large, center characters for A-9, and replace them with suit mark Pips. Yea I just mentioned cards1.png as the size I use. I tried recreating the deck by resizing the original cards3.png, but the numbers become too hard to read when they are resized.

Anyway, try it out if you get a chance. Playing with UNO cards is +EV I swear.

Hey fozzy, if you could make some black and blue backs that would be tight too. How do you make those designs?
