As odd as it sounds since it's mentioned right there in the lobby, I'm not sure that all of the players are aware that they get anything for finishing at top 2000.

I missed the first hour of this because I was taking a nap. Oh well.

Shortly after the first break I lost a coin-flip (that I probably should not have taken) that left me with $5 in chips with blinds at 100/200.

I was half-tempted to stall as best I could to see if I could outlast over 1000 more players to get to the bubble.
Alas, I decided against it.

The bubble only burst a few minutes ago, so good idea not trying...

I didn't make it either as my AA ran into a flopped set.

Won a 5+1 monster SNG qualifier (not sure if these are +EV or not. probably not).
5+1's only pay a monster-entry and no cash whereas the 10+1's and higher also pay cash to top 3 finishers.

so this seems to be the preferred way to qualify for the weekly freerolls right?

I've been slacking on this promo. I guess I'll just play a bunch of $5 sitngos until I win one and do this for each weekly freeroll-is that what must players are doing?

I busted in the 990s when my aces ran into flopped quads

I play the $10+1. That seems to be slightly better since they pay money to the first three players, even though it's only $25/$15/$10.

This has the strange effect that even though 75% of the value comes from coming in first, a lot of people are much too tight on the bubble. Thus, my experience is that most of the value comes from being super aggressive with 4 or 5 players left.

But maybe the $5+1 has a bunch of people who play them like freerolls, i.e. "double up or bust in the first three hands"?

How has this promotion been going for Party, has the traffic gone up?
Do you think that they will keep this promotion for the monsterouos 11 months?

And two questions of another character:
Does the rake drop to the monster count in the MGR?
How many ptbb does the rake drop cost at nl 2/4?
