I haven't read through this entire thread yet, I've emailed you guys about it, etc etc etc... no help in forum or instructions on website. Here's what's happening. SS is telling me that I have ZERO data on any players sitting at the tables. I just moved everything over to a new computer as of yesterday, so I'm sure that has something to do with it. I dont' know why it's telling me that because other programs are working fine such as PAHUD (stats all over, like nothing ever moved), if I open up PT I get all hands, all data, etc etc. In the DB config in SS, I used auto, so I don't know what could be wrong here. Using SQL... uhmmm... haven't finished ptAgg yet, but if SS was working absolutely fine before on my old comp w/o doing that, why is this all of a sudden different? Anyone who could help, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks. jrbick [/ QUOTE ] It is strange that it would stop working now. One thing to do, wait until PTAgg is done importing. The default options on the Config menu are to use your normal databases until PTAgg is done. Also, did you drag & drop your biggest dbs to the top of the list after you did the Auto Detect? EDIT: Also make sure there are no errors in your log file (CTRL-L). -Ben |

Here are my problems thus far (snip) [/ QUOTE ] 1, 2, 3 - These are all addressed in the new release of SS. The WinSD is zero bug is a known bug that we will fix later. 4 - Did you try changing the Batch size in PTAgg? A larget batch size could speed it up. And you can run PTAgg while you are datamining, as long as your PC can handle it. 5 - Make sure your clock is set correctly. Go to one of the websites that gives the exact time. 6 - There is a "Find Next" button/hotkey you can use to find the other tables. -Ben |

123- Cool they seem to work now
4- I changed the batch to 1k and it works faster but uses huge ammounts of resources. Datamining with PTAgg running is no longer a problem though. I think I just had to let PTAgg catch up and finish the previous databases. 5- my clock was 4 minutes off lol. Don t know how that happened. 6- found it. Sorry for being a dumb ass Thx ben |

I left it on overnight last night but when I woke up it looked like it had stalled (???). Still baffled as I had zero problems like this before and now all of a sudden it isn't using my databases. The largest DB is at the top of the list. Also, there were no errors in the log. jrbick |

[ QUOTE ] Ben, Sorry, but I wasn't able to get my answer from the help files. I have only 2 Access data Bases: Mine for my hand history, and one for Data Mining (both are rather small, so I didn't see a need for PT Aggregator). When I tried to config SS, both data bases are NOT in the PokerTracker.exe directory, and SS coudn't locate them. I had to move them to the PT.exe directory to find them. Isn't there a way to point SS to a directory other than the PT.exe directory? thx! P1 [/ QUOTE ] Since your databases are already added its not needed now I don't think. In that situation, you need to manually add those databases (With the Manual Add button). There is a setting in the SS configuration file you can change for where it looks for PT's access databases. -Ben [/ QUOTE ] I suggest a more intuitive method by adding an additional browse buttion in the CONGIG DB dialog where you can browse to the directory(s) where you want to search for additional data bases. This implies your DBs might be stored in more than 1 directory. My $0.02. thx! |

I'd like the capability to save search profiles so that they can be repeated with the click of a button instead of me having to go into the games tab and check / uncheck boxes all the time.
for example, I typically do 1 of 2 searches: 1) 20/40 and up LHE games with 3 or more people, OR 2) 5/10 and up NLHE games with 7 or more people. Granted, it's pretty easy to just go in the games menu and check/uncheck the various boxes to switch between these two searching profiles...but i'd so much rather be able to just click a "shortcut" button to toggle between these 2 searches depending on what mood i'm in. |

I've got one major problem with the software right now.
When the buddy list is open, under some circumstances (i'm not sure what), it minimizes, BUT sixth sense is still open... I cannot do anything in SS (my comp just dings at me), because the buddy list is open, but i have no way of accessing my buddy list. I have to force quit (and lose all my buddy list changes). Fix please! Thanks. |
