v1.0.0.52 - 8/29/06 - Added: PTAgg now automatically restarts itself after # of batches - This is a work-around for the memory leak caused by its ADO driver - Restart Batch defaults to 250, can change in Options tab - Added: PTAgg Player Lookup Tool - Its on the Tools Menu, or shortcut (CTRL-L) - Can lookup any players stats - Shows all "detail" records of player stats - Can change options for how to get stats (e.g., # players, limit, etc) - Added: "Ignore Player" to Advanced Options (CTRL-O) - You could enter your own player name here so that your stats do not affect the table stats - Changed: Subscribe dialog - NetTeller payment now prompts user for First and Last name so they can be matched up with the NetTeller payment - Fixed: "Encode Base64" option now used for getting Account Info also - FIXED: Bug in PTAgg that would cause it to skip importing some games - The logic for setting the last GameID imported would sometimes go past the actual last game imported (bug in a loop) - The initial import would always import all games - Running PTAgg's import WHILE DATAMINING would frequently skip games - Recommended user action is to do nothing, just let PTAgg catch up with the NEW games being data mined. - If you want to ensure SS/PTAgg gives the same stats as PT and PAHUD, you must run PTAgg, stop its Import, Reset the database (from Tools menu), and then re-import all of your database(s). This can take a LONG time (but memory leak is now fixed atleast). </pre><hr /> -Ben |

Ben you guys should creat something like this where it autograbs all the players on a person's party poker buddylist and sticks them in the 6th sense buddylist. This would save me a [censored] of time and effort. Thanks guys if you can do it. [/ QUOTE ] The Buddy list currently imports your Party notes (which are stored on your computer). But yes, we have it on our list to add something to import the Buddy List from Party Poker too. Thanks! -Ben |

the memory leak seems better right now I've been running it for 5 hours and its only up to 667K from 200K -still leaking but not as badly. [/ QUOTE ] Good news & Bad news. The Good news is that I found a bug in PT Agg and fixed it, and also put in a work-around for the memory leak (fix isn't possible because its not my code). The work-around should solve the problem. Bad news is that for some users you might have to re-import your PTAgg database. See the release notes for Build 52 for what you need to do. -Ben |

What is this PT Aggregator thing about? It takes >3 minutes to do nl600 and 1k for me. How do I use this program to make the process faster? [/ QUOTE ] You configure PTAgg from the "Config DBs" menu in SS. You can then Run PTAgg and click Help for a description of what it does. We'll update the web page with more info soon. -Ben |

Ben, Sorry, but I wasn't able to get my answer from the help files. I have only 2 Access data Bases: Mine for my hand history, and one for Data Mining (both are rather small, so I didn't see a need for PT Aggregator). When I tried to config SS, both data bases are NOT in the PokerTracker.exe directory, and SS coudn't locate them. I had to move them to the PT.exe directory to find them. Isn't there a way to point SS to a directory other than the PT.exe directory? thx! P1 [/ QUOTE ] Since your databases are already added its not needed now I don't think. In that situation, you need to manually add those databases (With the Manual Add button). There is a setting in the SS configuration file you can change for where it looks for PT's access databases. -Ben |

I haven't read through this entire thread yet, I've emailed you guys about it, etc etc etc... no help in forum or instructions on website.
Here's what's happening. SS is telling me that I have ZERO data on any players sitting at the tables. I just moved everything over to a new computer as of yesterday, so I'm sure that has something to do with it. I dont' know why it's telling me that because other programs are working fine such as PAHUD (stats all over, like nothing ever moved), if I open up PT I get all hands, all data, etc etc. In the DB config in SS, I used auto, so I don't know what could be wrong here. Using SQL... uhmmm... haven't finished ptAgg yet, but if SS was working absolutely fine before on my old comp w/o doing that, why is this all of a sudden different? Anyone who could help, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks. jrbick |

I also didnt read through the entire thread so I apologize if these issues have already been addressed. I just downloaded the trial 2 days ago and havent had much chance to mess with it since my database has been getting built. Here are my problems thus far
1. When I click the Reports tab on PT Aggregator and hit "num stats by game type" I get this error: NumStatbyGameType: Type mismatch for field 'game_type', expecting: WideMemo actual: WideString. I dont really know what is supposed to happen but I doubt this is it. 2. When I go into player lookup on PT Aggregator and type in a name and hit Lookup, I get this error: FATAL: passwork authentication failed for user "postgres" 3. On the SS client when I look at tables and individual stats I noticed that many players(most) have WinSD stats of 0. Some seem to be correct in the 50s range but some players with 10k+ hands still show 0. 4. Its taken me 2 days to build this database. It only took PA about 3 hours to build my cache. I know nothing about this process but there has to be a faster way. It seems to make this usefull you want to mine as many hands as possible. This isnt really possible if I have to stop mining/playing for a few hours every day to update my PT Aggregator. It also seems like a hastle to not just let it run while mining. 5. No matter how often I hit refresh the updated column never shows below 5 mins. Does this mean that the table information is 5-10 minutes old? 6. When I search for a player it only shows me one table that he is at. If that player is playing at 4 tables I want to know that. Well I guess thats all for now. Like I said I havent had time to mess around with it much yet. Looks like once its a bit further along it should be a nice tool. Not sure Im cool with paying the full sticker price while its still in beta though. Ill have to play around with it a bit tomorrow and see what it can really do. |

When I use the open multiple tables option SS seems to get lost after 9 or 10 tables and starts giving me this error:
An error occured. Monster #1294627 is in view but could not be navigated to. or this one: Monster #1293971 is not on the current lobby table list. Please navigate to the right level, check your table filters, and try again. I can see, and manually open, the tables in question in both instances. I also can't get the "toggle table open method" to work. No matter what it says each time I toggle it the program always opens the table and joins the waiting list. EDIT: I think this may have been a combination of demonster and opening tables with SS that caused this problem. |
