Did anyone catch Nellie on the post game interview?

He might actually play a 6 man rotation....

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah.. he essentially played 6 men tonight. Baron, JRich, SJax, Barnes, Biedrins, and Pietrus. He'll stick with that if Monta and Harrington don't get it going.

Pretty hot. A 6 man rotation beating the best and deepest team in the league.

50/50 LOL.. so you think the Mavs are on avg 80% to win each of the next 3 huh?

Hey Captain Math, let's think about it for a second while you're laughing out loud. Is Dallas better than Golden State? Obv. Is Dallas therefore likely to win game five at home, a must-win game where they'll have a sense of urgency and the home crowd behind them? Yes. If they win game six, what are the odds that Golden State - a team that caught lightning in a bottle through four games of the series but lost the next two - is likely to stroll onto the court of a 67 game winner and beat them in the deciding game? Close to nil.

This may look like I'm overestimating momentum, but really in the case of a much better team against an inferior one, it's as much odds evening themselves out.

All of the haters are saying that GS is a clearly inferior team, which they may be. When they are playing the Mavericks they find a way to win. the number's don't lie.

Regular Season: 4-0
Playoffs: 3-1

Apparently none of you have been watching this team during the regular season. They have been injured all year, but recently they have been compeltely healthy. While completely healthy they have been the hottest team in the NBA. This team is nowhere near an 8 seed.
The warriors will not only win this series, but they will go on to win the next one.

I think tuq's on tilt, but if not.

Even with ridiculously favorable assumptions like:
Mavs are 80% favorite for game 5.
Mavs are 60% favorite for game 6.
Mavs are 90% favorite for game 7.

That adds up to 43/57 against the Mavs.

I wouldn't take the Mavs for any better than 33/67

[censored].

I think Dirk is getting a little too much hate. He's obviously not playing well, but a big part of his lack of success is his teammates inability to get him the ball in places he can be successful. I watched him work his ass off for position in the 2nd and 3rd quarters, and his teammates either looked away, or decided they couldn't get it to him.

I also thought the Warriors got away with a lot of little hacks and loose ball fouls, but the Mavs also caught a couple of iffy calls for them, particularly late in the 3rd.

I don't want to come off as a huge homer, though. The Warriors have been better overall. They are completely in the Mavs head, and I'm not sure Dallas has enough to get out of this hole. It was sick watching Dallas dominate the middle of every quarter, take a 6-9 point lead, and then watch as the Warriors did whatever they wanted to close each quarter.

I was close to quitting on this team after last year's collapse. I don't really know if this loss will be worse than that or not, but the combination is absolutely humiliating. I could always lean back on the idea that the refs played a substantial part in the Mavs blowing the Finals, but I can't do that here.

I think it was Riley that said he's the most efficient offensive player ever and Skiles said he is one of the best ever or something and someone else said something else. Either way these guys dont know [censored] compared to Pudge and THAYR

[/ QUOTE ]
Why are you working under the assumption
A) Skiles/Riley aren't exaggerating and are infallible(or close to it)
B) THAY3R and I are the creators of all these arguments and not just rehashing arguments by Hollinger and countless others.

Also the GS game was sick and the Raptors will win the next three.
