Although you are probably right Sniper, I am pretty sure that most of the players, with retrospect, will have no idea what they are letting themselves in for if a dispute arises. [/ QUOTE ] Yes, and the legislators in the US are doing all they can to protect us from such things... |

Obviously, whether or not eric is guilty of fraud, collusion, chip dumping etc is irrelevant now. He has been found (rightly) guilty by FTP and that case has been closed.
It is also obvious based on Eric's posts that he is guilty of those crimes. The abscence of critical details, the refusal to answer pertinent questions, "forgetting" anything that may be significant to a legitimate defense and some semantical slip ups have verified that. Doug's case was laid out in an organized, efficient fashion to show what was detected and how it was interpreted. Eric has not. --------------------- But, something good can come from this. If this incident has shown anything, it has shown that Full Tilt's support department needs a significant upheaval. While eric is guilty, FT did a disservice to him by keeping him in the dark for such a long period of time. Support representatives have to work on maintaining efficient lines of communication between themselves and their customers in order to gain some reliability and trust. I know that it took weeks for Full Tilt to answer some of my questions via e-mail. For Stars, I get same day answers (some of which came merely hours after my original e-mail). Hopefully Full Tilt can recognize some of their flaws regarding customer service and support and fix them in the near future. ----------------- The only hilarious thing that has come from this thread is how his little friends rally around him and continue to support him despite overwhelming evidence that proves eric to be a thug. |

Well to be honest blackize I very rarely fully read the full T+c's of the pokersites I play. If I had a problem then I would refer back to them for help, but I am sure that there are other players like myself who do not fully read them also. I expect to trust such organisations with my money and to always deal in a fair and honest manner. Do you always read all the T=C's before you start to play...honestly?

Because as far as I have seen there has only ever been one persons word vs another. |

It seems like everybody else is after the almighty dollar, and they never even consider a world where people treat each other with fairness, respect, and good will. I'm really touched, and I would like to show you a token of my respect for you by offering you volcano insurance for only pennies on the dollar. PM me if interested. |

Did you realise that sarcasm is the lowest form of witt and generally uncalled for? I would think that the larger online companies would obtain a large amount of their business due to reputation..therefore you expect them to provide a fair an honest place to play poker (including cracking down on CC fraud), but also working with players to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.

Yep, I agree completely with you regarding FTP's ineffective and inefficient response to this situation. They may have rightfully won the battle, but it remains to be seen if they will lose the public relations war over this and other complaints about their bad customer service. As I noted in another thread Sniper has going in the Legislation Forum which tracks post-UIGEA poker site usage stats, since this thread started a week ago FTP's player population has steadily declined by over 1400 players. This may be sheer coincidence, but even if it is FTP's management would be wise to pay attention to the negative trend.
