Alot of poker pros and poker media ask me why I "bother" to post on 2+2, my answer is usually, "The majority of posters on 2+2 are funny and really entertain me when I am online, there are always going to be people who don't agree with me or approve of the things I say or do. But the majority is why I'm here." I know I cannot please everyone all the time, so I don't even try.
I do tell them it is most frustrating being on 2+2 because many of the posters are online players and play poker "math and odds", I have only been a live poker player and that is what I am good at. Reading people and adapting to situations, math and odds are factored in of course, but sometimes you have to play the players and the game.
I really hope most of you understand this and stop being so critical of people just because they have a different way of doing things.

If you say so....I have read some of the threads in that section and it seems most people are talking about high limit holdem online..... I know many players that beat the high limit live games in LA and in Vegas, if I have a question, I can ask them directly instead of posting something on a forum and giving people a chance to ridicule "how you played the hand" without them physically being in the game and in that present situation.
I think its great that some people on here learn how to be a better poker player...I am not wired that way. And for some of you to criticize me for not wanting to post in the strategy topics is unfair, I was asked the question "why do I only post in NVG?" and I answered it, for entertainment.

Is that analogous to the time BK and I were playing live and this hand came up:

a limper a raiser and 2 cold callers including BK on the button, I call in the SB with AQo and BB calls. Flop ace high all diamonds i have no diamond. Checked to BK, he bets, I c/r, all fold, he 3-bets I call. Ace turn, I bet he calls. Q river I bet he says outloud "this is probably a really horrible call but I just feel like you're full of [censored]" and then calls (with K-high).

WTF are you talking about? Unlike you youngsters here, I learned the game playing live poker against a bunch of Asians, so I know exactly what MsGluck is talking about and agree w/ her 100%. If math and odds worked in live poker just the way they do online, a lot of you guys would be beating the biggest games, but it's a whole different ballgame live.
