ironically, a few weeks before his accounts were locked, i swapped 2k with chuck on ftp to take advantage of their $500 bonus that they gave to some players. about 35 accounts were frozen as a result of his p2p xfers; mine was the ONLY account that wasn't frozen during the entire period. this is likely because i've never played from his IP (may have one time for 30 mins, can't remember if it was stars or ftp) and because i've had my account far longer than any of the affected accounts have.

nation,

Just to be clear, and forgive me if you have already answered this and I missed it. Do you *currently* reside where your friend does, or was that formerly, as in you are speaking to what you knew about him *then*?

FT has made mistakes in the past so you can see why this is not necessarily proof that there is no wrong doing occurring. This is why there are continued questions, if everyone trusted FT the issue probably would have already been dropped by now.

Yep, several of my friends wanted to get into Chuck's crew but had no startup money. I had plans to stake them and do this, but never got off the ground. I've played mostly live while back east.

anyone that has seen Nation play, knows that his style is quite close to the syndicate

yet, we are relatively sure he isn't a bot
I've even met him

nation, it seems from your responses that you are overly eager to defend these guys to the point of suspicion. please ban yourself.

Ok, I feel I have to say this since nation is claiming to be 100% honest, when in fact he is not.

Well, nation in fact talked about doing this very same thing. If you go through his posts when he was supposed to move into the Hermosa house with cts and others, he said he was moving east (back to PA) to persue "business opportunities."

See these threads:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...mp;Main=8588194

When in fact, he spoke to several MSNLers (myself included) about going back to PA to set up this exact thing (sweating/decision making for 4-6 players who are playing fullring). At the time, "sweatshop" was the term used when he described in and they would all be following "The system" on his yellow notepad.

nation,

I guess this answers my last question, in that you apparently did move back east. However it raises a more important one, in that the question of your cred in backing up your friend's story relates to not only his not being a botter, but ALSO not running a sweatshop, as that has been denied earlier.

To clarify, yes we live in the same town now. We also did before my year in Vegas.

No, I think it has nothing to do with that. He and his friends have their own thing going and I had no part in that. As I said, I was going to stake players like that, but didn't get off the ground. My previous plans should have nothing to do with whether he bots or not.

At a minimum, it would seem that this guy is running some kind of human bot system. Not that he's teaching people how to play and then supervising, but has a computerized bot system that instructs the humans what to do every time.

However, it's undeniable that the story that's been told is an excellent defense for running a bot if caught in that all their actions will come out similarly and it becomes harder to prove 100%.

Anyways, here are the by position stats of the players. The unique signature of the four players I mentioned previously is in the PFR% column. No player in the history of poker has made such a crazy jump between HJ and late MP.

How many players are we talking about? 3 or 4? or more?

If this "group" agrees people have the right to be skeptical, the "group" should disclose everything. It seems according to the OP, that someone in the group has created scripts to automate your strategies for playing even if a real person is 'technically' playing.
