What does a guy like that flat call with in the BB that just calls the flop? AJ ATs KQs/QJs 66? I'm not sure what else he can really have that makes it to the turn. AJ probably calls a turn bet, 66 probably raises, ATcc calls a turn bet, KQ/QJ probably fold. So on the river that leaves ATcc, AJ, and weirdly played AQ and 66 hands. I don't know how much of that range you can really get him off of with a third barrel.

i can shove this profitably, depends on your table image but on this board i can def see a meh/bad TAG stacking w/ JX b/c he figures you wouldnt play a big hand like that. If he had raised smaller we could talk about waiting for the turn but this is the price you pay for having that stupid bet pot button.

Villian is 19/16, may be a 2p2er but im not sure. Would you double barrel here? Would you triple barrel?

[/ QUOTE ]

dbl barrel is OK i think. let it go now. I play AXs just like villain all the time vs 2p2ers b/c people bluff so much on A hi boards. FWIW i like the double barrel a lot more if the A comes on the turn rather than the flop.

Bones,
45 hand is fine, but against lots of guys I vbet river.

I would def raise 88 preflop is villains were 100bbs deep, but since you are 50 bbs effective I don't mind completing as much. I think you need to call river because you need to be good like 30% of the time.

I'm not folding QQ there if he has 44 or 55 it sucks. I think I just shove calling looks pretty huge and this isn't a good board to bluff on. Since he bluffed you earlier he will be a lot more inclined to call this flop shove with a jack.

Costanza,
I don't like trying to get people to fold top pair. If I were to bluff the river I would overbet something like 250.

Pudge can you walk me through this hand with your thinking on each street? The only thing I don't "get" is the call on the river, but I would like to hear your thinking with your read on villain as you play each street.

J, the only hand that makes any sense for villain in that hand is 33-TT, since there arent any draws at all on the flop. I think if he c/c AX on that flop he would 100% c/c river with it. I guess he could have KQ some tiny % of the time but i cant really think of anything else that beats you.
