Thought I'd share this one with ya'll. This is the first NL MTT that I've outright won. I've had many final tables, and I've won a O/8 tourney before though.

Congrats. Is this how long these 4/180s typically last? I've not played any so far because I usually don't have time to play for 4 hours.

Well, they only last this long if you make the final table. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Also, it was literally the tightest final table ever. No one wanted confrontation of any sort for a very long time.
Yeah, typically if you go deep in one of these, you can expect to go 4+ hours.

I forgot one of the most amusing parts of my Fallsview trip, and that was Gay Eurotrash. He sat down in the 3 seat when the insufferable donk decided to cash out a big win. He was apparently Polish, since he toasted his double Crown Royal neat with something in Polish. He also spoke Italian, and good English. He looked like one of these guys, esp. the 2nd guy from the left, except about 10 years older:



He was wearing a baby blue v-neck sweater over his collared shirt, though. He, also, was an insufferable donk. He called large bets on multiple streets with bottom pair, etc. He also would not shut his mouth. He rambled on about anything and everything the entire time. He was telling us about how he was planning on partying with three chicks later, and he held up the game while he tried to decide if he had enough time to excuse himself to call them. If you miss two big blinds, they pick up your chips and give your seat away. After he came back, somewhere in the 4th or 5th hand he'd played in a row he advertised to the table out of the blue, "I have a big [rooster]!" and then made an absurdly bad call. He was at the table for about another half hour when three dudes sauntered over to our table and greeted him with a hug. Well, if there was any doubt left about this guy, everyone had it figured out by then. He packed up his chips and went to go "party," but he said he'd be back at 3. After he was gone, everyone at the table was looking at each other and asking "Did he say what I think he said?" Yes, yes he did. One of the surly regulars at the table got up shortly afterwards, too, resolving to take a nap and come back at 3, too. I was sad to see this guy go, but fortunately he was replaced by yet another insufferable donk.

Anybody playing on pokerstars here on the limits 0.5/1 - 3/6 6max? I just deposited 200 on ps and withdrew the rest to my bankaccount be4 going busto, gonna grind it all the way up again. And figured ps is a good place for it.

I would guess that at least 1/4 - 1/3 of the posters in this forum fit into that space.

Now on ps I can finally do some table selection because on wpex you had only 1 or 2 games going, to tell the truth I cant beat wpex games I just won allot of rake, rake kept me alive. My initial deposit on wpex was 150$ I ran that up to 4000 or something and swinged it down to 1000-2000 a couple of times updownupdown losing 1000s of dollars drives me crazy and am now just sick of it, I lost 1,5k in 2days(mostly because I was playing to high, since there were no games going on my regular limit) and didnt even blink this cant be a good sign. So I withdrew 1000 to my bankaccount and left 800 on wpex, took 200 to ps but wont play on wpex again its just money for whatever, I wont play on wpex for now. I just finished my first session on stars and I like it so far the games are allot fishier and I havent even been c/red once while on wpex its on every street [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] but I know limits that I am playing are allot lower now also. Awell hope to see you guys at the tables.
