I play so much live poker that the last thing I want to do is discuss strategy

[/ QUOTE ]
Obviously. Who wants to learn how to do something better if it is their primary source of income? That way you might end up making a lot more money...

[/ QUOTE ]

So you are trying to say that if I post somewhere other than NVG and talk about strategy I will "end up making a lot more money"???

[/ QUOTE ]
Yes.

[ QUOTE ]
Do you know how ridiculous that sounds?

[/ QUOTE ]
No.

[ QUOTE ]
Any "live game" poker player knows that with every hand dealt comes a different set of situations (i.e. players at your table), the way that I understood limit holdem quicker than most is by being able to adapt to every situation and learn hands on. Not everyone is like me and has different learning capabilities, so I don't go out of my way to "tell" people how to play.

Maybe you should rethink your sarcastic-outrageous statement and repost again. This should be interesting....

[/ QUOTE ]
Maybe you should re-post your post in the high stakes fixed limit forum and see if the people there (who are beating extremely high live games) agree with you.

I'm sure she's really sweating how much money she's going to make this year and in the future, considering the fact that a bunch of the people covering WSOP for various sites (myself included) will probably dedicate somewhere between 25-99% of all of our words talking about her and the 4-5 other women playing. Endorsements ahoy!

If you say so....I have read some of the threads in that section and it seems most people are talking about high limit holdem online..... I know many players that beat the high limit live games in LA and in Vegas, if I have a question, I can ask them directly instead of posting something on a forum and giving people a chance to ridicule "how you played the hand" without them physically being in the game and in that present situation.
I think its great that some people on here learn how to be a better poker player...I am not wired that way. And for some of you to criticize me for not wanting to post in the strategy topics is unfair, I was asked the question "why do I only post in NVG?" and I answered it, for entertainment.
I find your comments ridiculous only because I am a realist and cannot believe that everyone that posts in the High Limit Holdem forum are "beating the game and winning players". I will continue to do what works for me and I don't try and force my views or learning techniques on anyone. It's evident in prior posts that I'm not here to argue

while the post in question was written somewhat aggressively, surely you arent suggesting that discussion of general and specific limit hold em situations with skilled players is not an extremely effective way to improve ones game...

Don't sweat them Jean. Anytime any poker player with noteriety posts on here you always get alot of people trying to encourage them to post in the strategy forums. Alot of them are just desperate for whatever tips they can get from you. I think it's hilarious anytime a well known person posts on here and then a bunch of people respond with "Post on here more often please. Post in the strategy forums please. blah blah blah."

I said I think its great that people can learn how to improve their game on this forum, I on the other hand, wouldn't benefit from it....

Why do you only post in NVG?

[/ QUOTE ]

Well, the reason I came to 2+2 was because I heard some guys were saying really nice things about me and I felt it was only right to express my gratitude by posting....

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm deeply disappointed that you missed these earlier questions, so I'll try again:

[ QUOTE ]
I know you don't read poker books, but there was recently a hubub in this thread over Ed Miller's use of "she" in some of the hand examples in his new No Limit book. Objections were raised over his supposed ulterior motives. How do you feel about such things?
.
If that's too tough, how about this:
.
You wake up in the morning. How long between that moment and when you actually get up?
