Wow that's a sick board but I don't see myself playing it any other way (maybe lead turn again but I can see why you didn't [deep and getting raised with your hand sucks]). As played on river I don't think you can lead because it looks so transparent as a 9. Sucks if he showed up with 44 or JT, but I like it.
