Okay, I'm not insta-voting Zurvan, but I'm pretty sure that's going to be my vote.

Extremely interesting that books made it in ahead of shorty and traz.

Well this is fascinating. I suppose I have to kill a wolf now.

I anticipated this strategy, but it was useless to post in thread. It makes a ton of sense to put a villager in the electorate in a suspicious manner. The funny thing is that I think anyone with half a brain could see why promoting a wolf to this position would be a dangerous exercise.

That being said I will likely follow Fnord and Stephen if they can agree on a candidate.

I'd really like to hear from books and fnord before I cast a vote, but I'm leaving in an hour and not sure i'll be back in time. We'll see.

Books, why are you on the council?
Theory 1) Your list of 4, when pressed by Clown, sucked - it was Herbie, fmxda, Boiler, and soah. They liked where you were going and voted you on.
Theory 2) You're a wolf, and they want you eligible.
Theory 3) The wolves just wanted to keep Shorty and Traz off the council, so you got on. Thus, Shorty and Traz are not wolves.
Theory 4) The wolves are jacking with us, and one of Shorty/Traz is a wolf, and you're not.
Theory 5) Villager actions did it.

Any thoughts on which is more likely? Fnord, which theory do you like? I'm leaning to a combination of 1 and 2 or 4. I'm not sure it's worth hashing out before tomorrow's full day when everyone can discuss it, though, especially Shorty and Traz.

Ok, I think exactly one of the bram, zurv, boiler is a wolf. My order of preference for voting someone off right now is the bram, distant second jeremy (but I would really have to go back and re read before I felt comfortable about this), distantly followed by zurvan.

I think if bram is wolfia (and the reason I like him is his instigating in the zurvan / boiler thing), it goes a good ways to clearing the other two as village.

Part of only listing boiler as a suspect (and don't get me wrong, he has looked fishy, just not as much as the other two in that trio) was to see how that played out in the final tallies. (I was expecting to be third or fourth in votes.)

At any rate, I have more to say, but I just got home from work a short bit ago and need to finish dinner.

Books, my candidate is Zurvan. I was voted in pretty solidly on that platform, he's on traz's list, he's on Scott's list (that Shorty really, really likes) - I have a feeling that if it was a normal game Zurvan was getting voted off. It would take something unusual here for me to not vote him.

Why follow myself and fnord? Why not pick a name from your lynch list from earlier?

I believe Zurvan was on my list as well.

I think we should kill Shortline for hilarity purposes.

This is the one post of Zurvan's that set off alarm bells.

[ QUOTE ]

Arguing with you is pointless. Yes, I've been sarcastic. I usually am. If you think it's a wolf tell of mine, there's nothing I can do to change your mind.

Some insight in to my personality: I get sarcastic when I'm in a bad mood. Two things in this world put me in a bad mood: Being a wolf, and being swamped at work. In this case, it's option 2.

[/ QUOTE ]

It is exactly like what I would say in an attempt to sound villagery as a wolf. Whoever we vote off I think that taking the time to put out some kind of rationale is important. Leaving out a reason makes it too easy for wolves to skate.

I'm not sure how you read Bram as instigating the Zurvan/Boiler fight. Boiler pretty much posted a Voting Block role-claim strategy out of the blue, and Zurvan called him on it as being regurgitated strategy from earlier in the thread. Then they argued a bit about whether that was wolfy or not (it is, of course), and Boiler's defense boils down to "That's too wolfy for a wolf to do it."
Sadly, I felt the whole argument felt really contrived, which makes them both more wolfy in my eyes.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if bram, boiler, AND zurvan were all wolves, but I currently am leaning villager on bram.

I'm torn on Jeremy. Some of his posts scream VILLAGER VILLAGER VILLAGER and others scream just as loud WOLF WOLF WOLF.
