pushing is only gonna get called by better hands. calling and folding when you miss is pissing money away, and if you hit the flop and push, you're only getting called by hands that beat you and fold hands that you beat.

just fold and move on to the next hand!

Do you know anything about pot odds? If he has a PP folding is -EV.

Ok if he has a low pp everytime you can call, but the times he has AK, QQ+ im still folding. Even if he did have a low pp everytime, its not that +EV to call, you've only invested $2 when your a 45-55 dog.

i'd rather just fold and wait for a better spot to win $12

I call that all day....seen plenty of random trash like QJ, KQ, AJ, etc....also I HATE shortstacks. I call to give him 50BB's or make him busto

I don't even know why I asked whether to call or not. It was an obvious call. He had AK btw I'm just being results oriented. I ended up stacking him later with KK vs. JJ so I got my monies back. I'm getting about 1.5 to 1 on my money and shortstacks love to push with any PP and Ax so this is a very +EV call.

nits are people who play very tight and pretty aggressively, but their leak is they never bluff, so anytime you see them getting excited about a pot, you GTFO.

I think your best bet is just posting hands on this forum. There are plenty of smart players here that are willing to help for no charge. Keep playing solid sessions and post any hands that you have trouble with.
