I've been to the Hard Rock Tampa and it was so difficult for me to find. Of course I am 100% unfamiliar with the area so that didn't help. Their poker room did look quite a bit smaller than in Hollywood so I'm not sure how they're going to fit all those games.

An advantage to Carrolwood would be living closer to TAMPA DOWNS and TAMPA GREYHOUND.............as well as being close to the HR

I agree. I live in the Northdale area, which makes the Hard Rock a slight bit of a hike (at least for drunken $1/$2). If you can find a decent apartment or house off of Fletcher, east of Dale Mabry, every place would be convenient.

1. Are we expecting the new limits Saturday at midnight?

2. Has anyone been to the strip club on Hillsborough right near there? They're charging $10 now to get in and I wanted to know if it's worth it.

How many tables in Hollywood now? The nice thing about the Hollywood room is that all they have to do to expand is move the rail. They will have to outright move the poker room (high-limit baccarat pit, anyone?) or knock down the wall behind the cage and take up the space that used to be live bingo.

1. 8AM Sunday, according to a post supra.

2. I don't go anywhere but Mons, but I'll inquire. Name of this joint?

I just spoke to a floorman at the Hollywood Hard Rock. Their 7/1 plans for Holdem are to offer games with no maximum pre-ordained limits; i.e any size limit or no-limit holdem game that the customers want spread will be spread.

They are planning to cap the Stud limit at $5.

New limits are to go into effect when the Sunday morning day shift starts.

It will be bedlam. See you there.

I don't remember the current name. I think it used to be called Tootsies (it was pretty much a dive then). Some friends and I went to check it out last Saturday, but when the doorwhore said it was $10, we decided against it.

Anyone know what the Naples/Ft. Myers Greyhound Track and the Immokolee Seminole Casino will be planning? I called them a few days ago and they didn't know.

I couldn't give you a good estimate but it looked at least 5-6 times bigger than Tampa's

The only way this happens is if I don't show up. If I show up, they will say that there is no legislation and 2/2 is still the highest.
