trip report: my friends and i drunkenly sprint to Univ Ave. We are running w/ all the ppl emptying out of the O'Dome since my dorm is right across from O'Dome. We arrive and completely mob/crowd Univ Ave. Ppl climb the sign posts and telephone poles and end up on roof of bars and stores and such. I see big puffs of smoke down the street, and then I assume I get hit with one because I can't really see anything and my my eyes sting when I try and open them. I stumble out onto the grassy area besides University and ultimately end up sinking my leg into a big pile of mud. I dejectedly walk back to dorm, throw my muddy jeans and shoes into the shower, turn the water on, go back to the dorm room, etc

to those who say nobody could honestly have expected this, I predicted 28-10 for Fla, and probably would have predicted a larger margin of victory, but I was afraid everyone would have just said omg what an idiot, what a stupid dreamer. My actual prediction would have been 28-38 to 10-17 for Fla as I told a couple of my friends, sorry I didn't account for the opening play of the game(well maybe I did). I knew the SEC is that good and I can tell you right now why UT lost to PSU, they were dissapointed they got to play PSU they did no preparation and figured if they showed up they would win, that and they 90 yard fumble return( Arkansas outplayed Wisconsin, but lost anyway in a close one). The SEC is as I have been saying all year long well ahead of the rest of the country. Big 12 is a distant #2 and Pac 10 is a close #3. Big East is a bit of a ways a way @ #4 and the Big 10 is massively overrated. I said it earlier in another thread so I'm not just making crap up. If only I gambled on sports(outside of the mansion promo)I could have made a ton of $$$ on this game.

I sincerely doubt that was the logic behind it. Kicking a FG and making the margin 23, you still only have a 3-score lead. If you make the TD, you're up 4 scores and the game is officially over. And if you miss, OSU has to go 99 yards.

I guess I'm just too old school when it comes to class in football. It's sad that it's so rare anymore.

Andre Ware and ty Detmer are probably selling insurance.
Danny Wuerffel was good for the Rhein Fire.
Chris Weinke went 4th round. So, no, probably not usually in first round. And some guys like Leinart stay another year before going in first round.

Ty Detmer spent about 15 years in the NFL, so I doubt he's selling insurance unless he happens to enjoy it.
