Randolph Morris could sign with a team right now? This is a pretty interesting article, especially considering how many teams right now are so soft up the middle.

So anyone can enter the draft, then pull out, then go back to college, and then when you come out next year you'll be a free agent and not a rookie and can therefore get a non-rookie contract? If this is true, then why wouldn't every single college player do this one year before they really plan on leaving college. Then they can choose what team to play for and sign a much bigger contract.

Al Jefferson had another double-double tonight 14 pts, 12 rebounds, and 4 blocks (all on fat eddy curry).

If he goes in an Iverson trade, I pick a new NBA team to follow until Danny Ainge is fired.

I'm thinking the Hornets.

Seriously. I had some terrible feeling this morning reading about the AI workings, just knowing that Ainge is gonna [censored] me.

Also, when I leave work, Celtics up by 30. I get home and Tony Allen is throwing inbounds passes straight to the sideline with a 7 point lead? wft?!?!

most good players would likely get drafted. Thats the difference. Morris entered the draft....and no one wanted him. According to the article, if he hadn't gone to the private workouts, he would have been drafted.

I guess a player could declare after his freshmen year, totally sabotage his chances, then work his ass off the next year or so and hope someone signs him. But is this a player you want on your team? Smells of selfishness and someone motivated for all the wrong reasons.

I'm pondering moves to Seattle or San Fran. I worry seattle won't be there much longer. So it's probably either the Warriors or Portland (I was a big Portland fan during the glide's tenure).

Hahah maybe....I'm giving the C's a 30 percent shot at Iverson.

I was reading Maggette and Kaman didn't play tonight.

Aloysius, any info on that?

Didn't Kaman just get a big, new contract? Seems odd Philly would want to pick that up if there is indeed a trade with LAC. I did notice that Kaman didn't play and wasn't even on the active roster when I checking the box score earlier, definately seems like a trade could be almost done

long term contracts are an attractive thiing for a young player like kaman to have. means you have a good young center through his prime.

they do make older players harder to trade though.
