5 1/2 (8 seemed like too much).

If 9th thru 3rd hadn't been eliminated within the first 80 or so hands and the FT had gone this long with say, 3 or 4 players going this deep into the morning, I'd guess ESPN would've considered expanding the HORSE TV show to a 2-hour deal.

As is we'll likely just get the one hour.

And that's all it should be. Who wants to see Chip get absolutely pounded by Andy for a full hour?

It's a sure bet it won't be the 235 they're at right now! Whew! This is most definitely more about the bracelet and less about the money! I'm guessing 25-40

I think there will be a discussion for next year about the FT of this event. I still think that NLHE only is a bad choice for a H.O.R.S.E. event. I think Chip feels the same way.

I saw the David Singer interview and he was also not too happy about it.

238. Bloch moves all in and Reese makes the call for his last $1,010,000. Bloch shows KspadeJspade and Reese turns over Aspade10diamond. The flop comes KdiamondJdiamond9diamond and Bloch flops two pair but Reese has a flush draw. The turn is the Adiamond, giving Reese a flush. The river is the Aheart and Chip Reese has doubled up.

Chip just doubled up: Pokerwire says-
Chip Reese Doubles Through Andy Bloch
Hold'em, Omaha/8, Razz, Stud, Stud Eight or Better
Jul 15, 2006 / 09:31:28 EDT
Chip Reese was all in preflop against Andy Bloch. The players showed:

Andy Bloch KJ
Chip Reese A10

The board came KJ???. Bloch flopped two pair, but Reese turned a flush to win the pot and double up to about 2 million in chips

Chip Reese Doubles Up

Reese limps in and Bloch raises to $200,000 from the big blind. Reese moves all in and Bloch makes the call with 9c 9s. However, Chip Reese shows Kc Kd and the flop comes Js 7h 2d and Reese retains the lead. The turn is the Qc and Bloch is down to a nine on the river. The river comes the Ad and Chip Reese has doubled up.
