you can't lump the first 30 games (or whatver timespan) with the last run. if you look purely at the record, sure, they are underperforming, but "24 and 21" doesn't give an accurate summary of what has happened.

Those 8-1 odds would be if the yankees win the next two series. I would not actually give you 8-1 odds, but I really would expect the yankees to make the playoffs the vast majority of the time in that event.

I knew that the Yankees were too good to have an awful season like some on here predicted.

Mussina right now is the top pitcher in the American League. He's had an era of 2.57 in 5 starts in May, and he is 5 and 2. He has a 3.38 era currently. He hasn't walked anybody in his past 2 starts, and he was just dominant tonight.


He is my dark horse pic for AL Cy Young winner.

Pavano, Moose, Wang, and Brown have all been good of late. The guy that none of us expected to struggle is the one struggling(Randy). But he will snap out of it.
