you could easily be a top 3 player

These are the type of words of encouragement that will push me past the 20/40 level I am currently stuck at in this challenge.

With Pedro's sweating and encouragement I made it to 50/100 money. It's late and it's Christmas so I'm going to sleep, but I will try and pick this up again soon.

PT is missing a hand so I should have $70 more.

Ok, so I'm doing a couple of 15BBs today. Started both at 1/2 (part of my New Year's resolution to never play below 1/2 again). One's circling the bowl, but the other is going great guns:

1/2 up $42.50 in 25 hands, 25 minutes (85.00BB/100).
2/4 up $34.00 in 6 hands, 6 minutes (141.67BB/100). I didn't even make it a full orbit.

On to 3/6!

do you think your first orbit is always good +EV because people play tighter when they don't have their PT stats on you?

I think so. I also think that one tends to do well at these (at least I do) because you're playing more freely...a combination of time restriction and loss-limit produces the opposite of the scared-money effect.

Wow you move up when you get 15BB for the next level.

I can try out some 3/6 then since I started with 60 on a 2/4 table yesterday and ended with 111. I was doing this with the mantra you needed to win 15BB at the current level before you moved up.

Doing one myself. Currently also just starting 3/6. This is the first time I've made one this high, and I like it. Lots o' fun

Finished with 3/6 on a lovely KK hand in the SB. Hit a set on the turn and the guy in the hijack hit his set of 9's on the river, which was capped. 17BB pot pushes me over the edge. Dinner break.
