James whatever your intentions it didn't come across as something lighthearted 'intending to get a rise'. Perhaps this is a problem with using the internet as a method of communication. You didn't come across very well.

[/ QUOTE ]

Fair enough. People who know me know that I have a very dry sense of humor - and you'll notice that I don't go out of my way to criticize or make fun of people on the forum at all really, or brag about limits I play, $ I make(or lose!), etc etc. But you're right, tone is easily lost in text.

this hand reminds me of:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...rue#Post5177832

PS - Also note that in the above link, the pstove number crunching is flawed becasuse it includes hands in the loose players rangers with equal weight as various trash hands even though the premium hands should be heavily discounted... as a result JTo looks better than it appears.

James just loves me too much. He gets a little emotional when someone insults me.

Wrong kurosh. You should know that it's okay for gildwulf to go out of his way to insult you since he thinks he is high on the BBV totem pole and people always use you as a punching bag. On the other hand, if someone makes fun of gildwulf, you can be sure others will rally to his defense! You guys are pretty territorial here!

Nice dodge

That's meaningless.. anyways. I'm not interested in continuing this turn-based chat war with you. If I offended you, I apologize. If you think I play badly, that is fine. I still don't really like your attitude towards me, or Kurosh for that matter. If you are going to make these sorts of jokes, expect people to say things back to you.

Either way, I'm not taking this as personally as you all seem to think, and I'm sure you're not taking this as personally as it appears from my end.

Okay gildwulf, you know me so well so you are certainly qualified to make this statement.

Lol, first the guy makes a mock 'fyp', which is fine. Then he goes and makes a post where he says 'only thing worst than the OP's hand...' which is pretty smug and retarded. I don't care what limits people play, and as you can see, I offered helpful responses to those who made legitimate points on the hand. but when someone is making backhanded comments about my play in a hand that i didn't post for a strategy discussion, I talk back. Sorry if this strikes a nerve with you people for whatever reason.

[/ QUOTE ]

I will play you at 1 million/2 million HU if you can find the light-hearted fun (or fun-ny) in this post.

[/ QUOTE ]

That post was not meant to be lighthearted. It was a serious response saying that my previous responses were sarcastic in nature towards you, and not self-righteous.

No, in BBV, they shouldn't comment on the quality of the play. That's for the other 100 forums.

Now you're getting chesty.

Gildwulf deserved every bit of that toungelashing. And if he's gonna play the "I'm a lousy player" card too, he should stop giving advice like an Mr. Omnipotent.
