where did you acquire most of your learning? through play? books? you may find these forums rather educational. you should post some of your insight or questions in the shorthanded forums. it maybe a waste of your time..it may not.

LAG = loose aggresive and I think it means a good thing. The game was running 4 handed with you, some younger guy you knew that seemed really good, myself and a huge fish. I ended up getting crushed, but the fish was so bad that the game was definitely profitable.

I have been playing poker for two years, professionally for one year.

I have put in alot of hours at Commerce Casino...I used to play 6 days a week. I started out playing 15-30 limit, then 20-40, 40-80, now I am a regular at the 100-200 games.

I haven't read a book yet, I like the hands on experience better because every situation is different.

well some would say the learning curve is a lot faster after reading a book or consulting someone more knowledgeable. it would take years and years of play to finally decipher your leaks and get a large enough sample size. I am rather impressed that you seem to have figured things out after 2 years. do you play a lot online?

I never claimed I had poker figured out.... I am still learning every day. I just am fortunate enough to be a fast learner and to be winning. I don't believe reading about playing poker would work for me, but thats just me. I think alot of people benefit from those books.
No, I don't play too much online. Live games make poker worth while.

Tournament cashes--definitely the best measure of player skill. Playing well at $50/100 shorthanded and $100/200 full holds no weight with me. How are you supposed to make a living off that?
