The title of the thread was "Reduce the rake is running with all your money"
The OP was not a RTR customer. He was an affiliate with a tarnished record. The OP's reply w/ "evidence" was only a vague summary of an AIM conversation. The only thing there was numerous confirmations of was that RTR was working on a solution. There was not one reply that supported the accusation that RTR was running away with all of his players' money. Cup |

i don't understand why the mods are worrying about semantics here - if the players are getting a dime less than they were promised then the affiliate is a bum and should be referred to as such

I agree. I trusted him and was happy w/ his support up until this proposed solution. He's got to make sure he doesn't get screwed, but that doesn't mean that he should stick it to his customers. I'd like to know what formula he used to come up w/ 15%? That just doesn't make much sense to me at all. I can't believe that even half of the people were able to take advantage of the accelerator promotion.

I'm not sure how to take a screen shot, but if we sent that wouldn't it be accurate?

All I can say is if El Diablo thinks Reduce the Rake is a scumbag then I also think Reduce the Rake is a scumbag.
FWIW I have never worked with RTR, however from his various responses in this thread and througout the forum, the verdict of scumbag can now be showered upon him. His decision to screw over players and take their money is the biggest scumbag move possible in the affiliate business. The best affiliates are the ones who always make timely payments and have great customer service. |

if he wants to make a profit, 20% will not cover the VIP and bonuses for many players. It is possible to get 15% rake back by maximizing VIP payments. I know; I did it last month. When you take that 15% off the 100% then take 25% of 85%, he is getting 21%. Admittedly not all players are VIP, but the VIP players make huge volume and are a large percentage of the total MGR. Throw in a chargeback, or a tight player with a deposit bonus, and 20% is a loss, but 15% seems a rather steep cut.

If 20% is too much and 15% is too low what should he do?

I personally think he should collect all the PT stats and keep them together. When he finally has everyones in, he can compare it to the totals he recieved from Party. Everyones payments can be pro-rated from there. Sure it is a lot of work but he's making a lot of money.
