I wonder what would have happened if he never used steroids. How would that have affected the division races, playoff series, and MVP voting during that time? The same thing goes for Sosa, assuming he used.

[/ QUOTE ] yeah i guess it means jerk, but more than that. a jerk who is undeserving of all of his accolades. obviously he was a good player before roids -- but i think it would be tough to find someone that would argue that he would have made the run he did at the record books without the aid of steroids.

[/ QUOTE ] Probably not, but Barry Bonds was one of the top 20 position players of all time before he started using, and probably #2 on the all-time LF list.
