So he is never around her when I am really. I am [censored] terrible at flirting. I don't know how bad goofyballers situation was, but I am pretty awkward. I know of 4 girls on my class that have "crushes" on me or whatever and I guess I know I am good looking but I am still a pansy.

[/ QUOTE ] you just have to forget about your goals while talking to her why don't you just talk to her, try to get to know her, find out stuff she likes... if you get nervous ask her a question yeah, it's easy to get in the friend zone like that, but it's a whole hell of a lot better than just not doing anything, and as you realize that you CAN actually just talk to her, you'll eventually loosen up and start being funnier / flirtier
