11 BB Downswing? Post it in here! (Designated No Content Thread)

I just dropped 50bb at 1/2 in 245 hands, single tabling

my winrate was -20bb/100
my w$@sd is 18%

probably the worst session I've ever played. can anyone top that? (in winrate or w$@sd)

I discovered that it works even better if you go to 10/20, but you have to leave after a thousand hands or you get your ass handed to you.

So tiltaholic has persuaded me to take a 50BB shot at 10/20 (well, he wanted 100BB, but I didn't want to blow 1/4 of my roll). Should be interesting. My plan for moving up is always this:

1) run hot
2) hit minor downswing
3) run about breakeven
4) lose until you're about even
5) start winning and never look back

I am currently on step 3.

nice plan and best of luck, skip step4 would be my advice

I missed step1 on my 5/10 shot [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] but a beatdown of 3/6 lately has boosted the confidence for another more sustained effort

also I hope Wookie lets me hijack that huge 1/2pot thread, as my personal LC thread, with title and everything
