I was being sarcastic.

It was either too subtle, or I'm too dense.

They are pulling the same thing with me NeverLie. I was told to play 800 22+2 SNGs which I did. However I can't even get a response now from the VIP team.

I've never played at part, but I hope that vip status is worth all that headache. I would have been done after the first response. Thats just me.
Good luck with becoming a vip, it seems to be very important to you.

Wow, I'm very very surprised so many poker players agree that the sites should have supreme power to confiscate entire bankrolls on the assumption someone has cheated in any way.

I'm sorry to disagree, but this kind of absolute power would lead to much abuse and threaten to undermine the trust people would have that their money is safe in poker sites.

I personally would withdraw daily if such a policy was widespread, and then only deposit small amounts to just fund what I needed for that days play.

[/ QUOTE ]

You forgot. They only seize your funds if you actually did cheat.

[/ QUOTE ]

I guess you didn't read any of the link I posted earlier. Or are you saying that all those 2+2ers really did cheat at Prima?

[/ QUOTE ]

That link is not at all relevant to a discussion about not playing on party because they confiscate all the funds in a cheater's account.

First, it is from a different site and 18 months ago.

Second, I am pretty sure Party treats CC fronts differently and doesn't have the same problems Prima did, the sites have developed their security since then.

Third, unless you play a very high limit, odds are no one is going to chip dump to your account. If you are some low limit multitabler this isn't going to happen to you.

Fourth, a site should confiscate all the money in the account of a cheater because that is the correct policy to combat cheating. If someone puts 6 horses (SIX HORSES!!!?>!_) into a tourney and wins 10K and their total balance after is 15K, should the site seize only 10K and leave the rest? Of course not. If sites only take what they can prove you cheated with that is not enough of a disincentive. Insert bank robbing analogy here. You are not going to get falsely accused of collusion at .5/1 and get 20k seized, don't be [censored] ridiculous.

Pretty typical...and unfortunate.

I would have badgered them more about, "If it's 4000 points then why did YOUR reps tell me 3600 points and $1200 MGR. You said that 'whoever told me $1200 MGR is sorely mistaken.'
Well, it was YOUR rep who told me that. The name of the party-rep who told me that is XXXX.
You clearly do not have all your reps on the same page regarding the VIP program.
Either your reps were misinformed, or they are just making it up as they go, or they are outright lying.
I asked PARTY SUPPORT. And PARTY SUPPORT told me 3600 points. This is what I did.
Now you are changing it and saying it is 4000 points."

I would also consider forwarding this exhange of e-mails to Mike OMalley.
You have been treated extremely unprofessionally.

It is typical of the way party miscommunicates within their own offices and handles their customers with extremely little care.

[/ QUOTE ]

Thats exactly what I did, In one of the emails I pasted Serkan and Sineads emails into it. using their names and showing with they said..........they didnt care.

We are talking about Party here? You know PARTY POKER? That site that so secure that they can only catch someone playing 6 accounts in one tourney when a player points it out. That's so smart that they let everyone downgrade their cruise ship room and cash out the 400 bucks. That has such quality people running their support that it's mucked like every [censored] day on this board. This is the site you think should have the right to be judge, jury and executioner?

Or they believed you to have cheated. True or not.

[/ QUOTE ]
Why is everyone so stuck on Party busting innocent people? Reading the other threads, it seems that people's biggest gripe with Party is they aren't busting the players who actually DID cheat. Now, for some reason, we're arguing on the other end of the spectrum for no reason whatsoever. Ridiculous.

EDIT: Also, if you've had your PP account for like 2 weeks, expect to be treated differently. Remember how many people changed accounts several times for RB among other reasons? I've personally had the same account with PP for 3 years now and NEVER have a problem. I'm gold status, my deposit/withdrawal/transfer limits are high, and my emails are always answered promptly. If you want the benefits, consider doing the time.

Another good thing about Stars is that if you ever decide you want to cheat, the only thing you lose if you get caught is the money you won while cheating!

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually, thats a good thing. If somehow you get falsely accused of cheating, at least you won't be wiped out totally.

[/ QUOTE ]

You are absolutely correct. Any player that is advocating a site should take a player's entire online bankroll even in the event of proven cheating is not thinking clearly, IMO.

Only funds that are directly linked to the cheating should be confisicated and naturally that player be permanently banned.

PokerStars got this one right and the action they took should be applauded by us players.

The position Party took in this case (total confisication of funds) should have been railed against by us players.

Players need to ask themselves what if they were falsely accused of cheating and their entire bankroll was wiped out?

There have been many cases where people are falsely accused, get convicted, and then serve jail time.

[/ QUOTE ]

I've been wanting to leave the ZJ thing alone, but that last sentence is an oxymoron(i'm assuming at leat). Are you saying criminals should not go to jail because some are falsely accused? If so then I guess it's not an oxymoron.

Yes, ZeeJustin wasn't falsely accused, but some other player might. It's not always black & white. For example you created a new account with false name to get RB from your new affiliate. You broke Party's T & C. Do you want to lose all your bankroll?

[/ QUOTE ]

This keeps being brought up. RB is an affiliate issue. Does anyone have links to party's TnC's were it talks about rakeback. I still haven't found anything.
