Pretty sure everyone I know who is good at cards is losing right now. Makes me think that I should switch to the style that seems to be taking all the money. Loose passive. I will provide a TR if and when I make the switch.

30 at cp has been ok to bad while its full for the past two weeks and everyone I know who is above average is blowing their brains out lately, I have no idea who has all the money and where they are.

I think the worst players are taking it from the best players and then spreading it around to the breakeven players. I actually booked a small win today, but it was a total swingfest and had to leave, bc if I lost another huge pot I wouldve lost all control. My favorite hand today.

Weirdo who plays everyhand openlimps in MP, Doc a tagish, slightly weak reg raises on the button, sb folds, I 3bet QQ all call.

Flop:T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I bet, retard call, Doc raises, I 3bet both call.

8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I bet, both call.

River: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I check, retard checks, Doc checks. I curse ,myself for not betting river-table my hand and retard tables Q4s for the river flush. This same guy raised a river donk on a T987 board w/ A6. I dont know if he was really scared or thought Doc would actually bet that river.

Howard, 90% sure he is a fish like everyone else and 10% he was BSing you. Everytime I find some "new guy" who seems to play well I seem to quickly find out they are awful in some way or another. John Feeney wrote about this I think. Anyway yay for winning that nice pot and finding a new fishy

Here is a hand that I witnessed tonight in the CAZ 20 game.

I am unsure about the preflop action, but I am pretty sure it was unraised, and between 4-5 people were in. The flop came 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and SB checks, BB bets (tightest player in the game), MP raises, SB threebets (loose and crazy player at times), both call. Turn comes 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], SB checks, BB checks, MP bets, SB calls, BB folds, showing me A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. River comes J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB checks, MP bets, SB calls and says "2 pair" and rolls over 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. BB goes on instatilt. MP claims he had an overpair, which might mean 66.

hand where I lose one bb postflop with a set:

stevie (badish but not terrible lag) raises utg+1, nam loose donkey calls, I 3 bet black tens, lag calls in blind, stevie 4 bets we all call.

Flop KsQs9x and its checked to me? and I check obv.

Turn red ten stevie bets I call quickly other players fold

River blank stevie bets I tank a bit and dump. Meh.

Thanks. I'll need a few more sessions w/ that player to get a good line on his play but that remark really surprised me. That and that he gave me so much action w/ his set of 4's. Maybe the fact I was 'impotent' all night factored into it. He doesn't know me as I don't know him and my table image must've been horrible to him.

chopped for 1st place the other day in a small limit tourney with stupid crazy blind levels

made the final table with ~50% of the chips in my stack, got to HU with a 3:1 chip lead (~57k v ~18k at 1.5k/3k blinds), 1st hand: dude raises button, I look down at AKs and 3-bet, he asks me if I want to get it all in, so I say ship it

he tables J9o, flop is: K x x, I lose, that hurt

dude asks me for the 2nd time if I want to make a deal, I give in bc this guy is obv going to push through hard and the blinds are too high compared to the stacksizes, so I have almost no edge

would have preferred to play for it, but it was a nice 2k+ win nonetheless, esp bc I don't play that many tourneys, let alone limit ones

we flipped for who would be declared winner (casino rule), he won

made a nice 50+BB win in my 15-30 live game as well which hadn't happen to me in probably 6+ months or so (in only ~5 hours of play, mostly short handed)

so nice start to the month, only downside is that I won't be able to play much, if any at all, for the rest of the month bc of other obligations

He is a moron. You can raise and then fold when an Ace flops as well.
