![]() i use a 1925 coin like this without a case. i flip it, toss it, bounce it, spin it, and slam it like a freakin' pog. since it's silver, it makes a really cool noise when i flip it really hard. |

Soon I will be involved in marketing the "thingie" that will be the coolest card protector ever. If I can post it here without violating the rules I will.

i use a pretty cool card guard, 2-3 years ago i was playing 10-20 NL at the palms here in vegas. Joe Awada is a staple in that room, anyway we got mixed up in a pot that had been raised and re-raised, a few times. when te river hit i ended up going all in a joe thought for about 30 seconds, he had about 40 bucks less than i had, and i said to him, if he called i would let his cards guard cover the last 40 bucks ans we could put them in the pot. he agreed and lost the pot to my queens full with his nut flush. anyway the card guard is (3) 5/8" sterling silver nuts welded together (nuts as in nuts and bolts) they're very cool and i use em all the time playing live, however somehow ive built up a complex over the last 2 years.....i get all weird when a guy at the table asks if he can "see your nuts" i just think it is cool because i won them in a pot,or because they were givin to me by a professional and a very cool guy btw. i think if you buy it, it makes kind of....stupid and donkeriffic!!!! [/ QUOTE ] I just wanted to give props to this great story. |

My LC observations.
Loving the knight. I can only imagine the merciless mocking at the table. That might actually be overall EV, since a light mood makes for a looser table. Why does the Japanese girl only have one glove? why does it have loose threads? Why does her haircut look like she did it to herself in 5 minutes? Can the object she's holding possibly have any value at all, or is this a colossal chain-yank? I used to have a 50F coin from a budapest casino, bright pink and cheaply made. It was understated yet gaudy. I left it behind eventually. Edit: I was the coolest dude in the universe till I lost it. I played with the raccoon dick guy in Tunica. He was quite proud of it and made sure that the whole table was aware of his raccoon dick card protector, which he shook over his cards whenever he was on a draw. He was probably the coolest guy I've ever met in my natural born life. |
