Bumped for bkholdem.

I give this a solid B so far. It is not a biography. Format is a dozen or so contestants ("losers", according to this forum) with a weekly elimination like lots of current shows, winner gets $50k and title Master PUA, and gets to join Mystery ("douche", apparently) as he teaches his methods on his worldwide trips. Looks like there will be lots of boy-to-man moments, tears, hugs, cringworthy moments and more.

Also, although this would be very un-OOT-like, can we tone down the "losers"/"douche" comments a little? Or at least try and construct some sentences as to why you think this way....? Just an idea.

Personally, I am looking forward to the makeovers

I have never met mystery but have met some of the people that copied his seminar system (which he copied, albeit modified) from Ross Jeffries.

I know some of the guys in Boston who are PUA's (although lost touch with them all, I am married now) and used to do this kind of stuff (not copied shizat from mystery or anything though, my own thing mostly, but I did share info and critique field reports (kind of like critiquing a hand someone posts but with more info, like a series of hands or a session).

Years ago I participated in online newsgroups devoted to PU.

Because you think that what they do actually doesn't work and is BS, or because you think that actually working at becoming better at picking up girls is silly?

[/ QUOTE ]

These aren't the only 2 options. I'm against stealing money from people. Is it because I think picking people's pockets doesn't work, or because I don't like money?

Your post was borderline TLDR, so it took me nearly 2 minutes to get through it. Plus, I spent a few seconds laughing at your use of a smiley.

Shouldn't this be in the form of a poll?

bkh: what, in your mind, constitutes a PUA, vs a player, vs an average guy just trying to make it with the ladies (AFC, I suppose you would say, though I hate the term)?

methods? results? perception?
