Pretty lame to go to the media with it all, I have to admit. I know he feels like the Lakers 'insider' did it first, but he's got to be the bigger man. Although he doesn't really have a track record of taking the high road . . .

i have a hard time believing that any proposed scenario is doable. maybe yao for kobe.
although i do like several scenarios involving one of the top 3 picks in this year's draft. lakers seem get enough in return. even though kobe demanded a trade, they don't have to accept less than fair. if it comes to that, it would be pretty easy for Buss to open up the old checkbook and get KG.

No, you've gotta understand that Blazer fans have been disillusioned for a long time. This luckbox #1 pick is coming at the perfect time, and feels like a fresh start.
Giving that up for a guy who, despite probably being the best individual player in the league, is well into his career and a "divisive" individual at best is not gonna fly here.
