With the money I bought 10 Marlboro Lights, 2 bagels, 1 large strawberry muffin, and made a donation to a busker I just stood and listened to perform Dylan's 'I Want You' and 'Just Like a Woman'. It was an uncannily good Dylan impersonation; the voice, the harmonica, the guitar all spot on, and two of my favourite songs.

I still have £1.50 left for tomorrow. Result!

So even when you're broke you still spend like 2/3 of your money on unnecessary things?

[/ QUOTE ]

thats how many poor people stay poor, obviously

[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, I know. I've been this poor before. Although, uh, never while I was gainfully employed, which is quite a feat.

Eventually I decided that as much as I liked walking the streets high all day, I needed to eat regularly, and paying rent was a good idea too.

I think it really depends on what else is in the drawer as a hint if she is planning on coming back or not? Are things like pictures still on her desk? Anything other reason she might be planning on coming back?

If there's no reason you think she's planning on coming back this is an easy steal...even if you aren't broke. If she ever comes back and asks for it and you have money at the time you can pay her back and say, I figured you didn't care about it or whatever. Going to the bank anyway and change it up story doesn't make sense imo as nobody would ever do that.

Furthermore, if you are this short on money, I'd seriously suggest cutting off the internet payments...1) to save money, 2) so you won't gamble anymore.

not sure on the answer, but I think now would be a good time to change your screen name. It is no longer appropriate.

$13 per desk per sitting, I mean if you can 8 or 12 desk, you can make a decent wage at it.

I think that's what he was getting at.

Right, right - I could grind out $100 or $150 an hour, like one of those guys beating the 20/40FL game!

I was in the Cub Scouts when I was ten years old or so. They elected me Scribe, the one who keeps the money among other things. I blew all the money on high living.

They had this big public deal with lots of contests for kids where you could win money. I won the pie eating contest dirtiest kid. Then they said they pay me another five to go kiss my parents in the grandstands with pie all over my face and shirt. I pretended to do that, even though my parents weren't there. I got so more money for the flour blowing contest and nearly caught the greased pig. Being a thief in the hole is very motivating.
