So much for moving my play back to UB. This is a god damn jopke. I hope everyone there blows up or something.

Edit: I also just deposited over the weekend to get the bonus they had and now I have no desire to play. I wonder what will happen if/when I try to cash out, oh boy I can't wait!!! [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

Double Edit: I just checked their site to see how to get points and it still shows as "earn UB points for every raked hand." So if this new way is how they are going to do it, they sure haven't updated it on their site.

If the points change stands I am officially done at UB for good. The pts for cash was the only thing keeping me around...now that they have made that suck as well....no sense in beating my head against a wall.

FWIW, if anyone has problems opening the poker table list (when first starting), upgrading IE 5 to IE 6 fixed it.

I guess I should have said it's not an across-the-board change unless it was incompetently rolled out. Which of course was highly likely, given that it's UB.

Maybe they changed some tables to contributed, left others at dealt, and are waiting to see if the play changes at those tables compared to the new dealt method.

I'm not sure there's any reason to play at UB anymore other than habit. To me, UB's advantages were their software (advantage lost as other companies have improved) and their bonus pts (advantage tossed by UB). Is there now anything at UB that is not done better elsewhere?

I have played at UB for quite some time. I have been through a lot of [censored] with them when they were growing and had the worst lag. I have always backed them and played there as my main site.

Now they have screwed the players and themselves. People aren't going to play there anymore. The amount of player there will be dropping very fast over the next couple of weeks.

Time to go with Stars as my main site. I don't care what UB does in the future I will not return. Never was a fan of AP and now that UB has turned into AP I am done.

I was 8 tabling NL25/NL50 last night and only got points in pots I contributed to in all of them. When I quit playing, would normally have around 200 points for time I played. Last night, got a whole whopping 40.

So as others have already said, if this is going to the way its done now then I am done with UB. Back to Stars and getting me a FT rakeback account.
