FWIW I think Brian gives up a lot through physical tells. Obviously I haven't picked up anything, but I'm sure some of the seasoned live pros can pick up strength/weakness pretty easily from his body language.

Booth is easily capable of flat-calling with AA in that spot as well

Brad told me that when he talked to PI at a break after the hand, PI said he put him on AA.

These numbers are extremely biased as it adds zero bluffs to the equation but rather includes only hands that are either dominating or are virtual coin flips and is not truly representative of BB's range, though it makes a sublime point.

Seriously, if only there was some way people could watch TV shows at some arbitrary time instead of the time they are being aired. Someone should invent either a device or an internet service that could do it.

I have a feeling that Ivey was pretty sure he had the best hand but was likely only 50/50 if Booth did have a monster draw.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ivey isn't going to fold if he genuinely thinks he's in a better than 50/50 situation. That's what weak players do. Ivey thought there was a high % chance he was beat.

[/ QUOTE ]

10% * p(KK_beat) + 50% * p(KK_good) != "better than 50/50 situation", even for very low values of KK_beat.

Who knows what Ivey was thinking about, but being beat a high % of the time is not a prerequisite to folding.

That range of possible hands is too large. With the pre-flop action and the implied odds left in Ivey's stack, the only reasonable hands to call with were 77 and 66.

Ivey wasn't that afraid of aces, he was afraid of a set and obviously he didn't think that Booth was capable of making such a bluff.

Also we don't know his criteria to call or fold in such a spot. Maybe it was a percentage call based on color combinations and the cards "told" him to fold in this spot.
