Welcome to life as a mediocre grinder. I'm really sick of the swings/frustration of being a small winner. Any help would be greatly apreciated.

Kom ... you seem decent ... your aggression is perhaps slightly low, but basically ... you are a winning player, now fokus on your hands, post ... discuss and think

Than the stats will improve ... still, you are winning and that is not all bad

Last week after plugging a leak with Gelford. I admittedly was tilty during that downswing at 3800.

Here's the before and after positional stats. Beware sample size ofc.

Something still seems fishy with my rate from the CO.

Heh .. yeah ... You have been persuaded to give in to the Gelford school of uNL thought (allthough I usually run a 18/17 game) .... still having been involved in this, I hope that some of the regs chime in so it isn't just you and me burning the midnight oil discussing poker, possibly heading the wrong direction .... you never know ??

Felix,

I found that to beat 10NL, you just need to value bet the calling stations and watch for the fish who overbet their hands. Nothing fancy. It looks like maybe you are limping too frequently (31/15/2).

In 10NL players trap too much, limp too much, overbet too much, etc. Do the opposite of these things and you will win.

Open raise, don't open limp. Raise limpers, don't call them.
Open raise from CU and button a lot. Use position to your advantage against all the blind defenders who call your raises.

If you can beat 10NL for 8+ BB, then move up to 25NL if you have the $350.

Hard to say Zinobrinho ... you go to far with your mediocre hands, you bet to little letting draws hit or ...

The only way to answer that is to start posting hands, so the forum can see how you actually play ... stats cannot reveal that
