I know you're being sarcastic. I may or may not be able to help you. If you talked poker with me, talked about posflop situations maybe early, then maybe I could help you. Talking poker with me is +EV. Even when I'm wrong, I give tidbits of right information or get people's wheels spinning.

[/ QUOTE ]

Seriously, who talks like this? Do you have absolutely no humility?

[ QUOTE ]
Thayer, just look at your pokerdb? I haven't looked at it, but I get this crazy feeling (I have a 6th sense, obv) that you're betting than -19k? Eh? That true?

[/ QUOTE ]

My stars db is worse than yours (although it's somewhat skewed by my being bought into several wcoop events where I was massively -EV...like the 5k horse...) but unless you've played a ton of tournaments it doesn't really mean all that much. Even if you have, results are often a terrible way to judge the best posters as a lot of very successful players have a shockingly poor understanding of poker.

I've said it before, I don't have any humility and that is really my only flaw.

Yea, I bought in direct to a bunch of those stupid events. Blah.

I lie awake every night hoping that the converse is also true.

Who said anything like that? I said something along the lines of playing unexploitably makes you miss tons of spots where you should be stealing people's blinds all the time/running them over...

[/ QUOTE ]
I could be wrong, but I interpreted what alot of the people were saying as "yea, but if you play unexploitable, then you play too tight."

Seems to me like your MTT play is a flaw, especially considering many of your comments regarding them.

Probably... Not the first "subtle" bash at you (or me) in this thread. Whatever, results are the bottom line, right? Shake it off and move along...

Sir, I have no idea what you really know about my poker game. I know little to nothing about yours. But I can more than hold my own in MTTs, I obviously don't want to grind them and I've run badly in my small sample size, but I'm definitely very, very +EV; maybe this is why I have people who really really really really really want to back me? Maybe because they know my level of understanding of poker, and as soon as I start avoiding 2 outers, I'm going to pwn anything I play in.
