how did you figure out he was 2+2??

[/ QUOTE ]
I'm wondering about this too. Not saying I don't believe you. Did party give you his 2+2 name? That would be weird.

Both of his posts were deleted, it seems. Apparently he spammed by pm.

Ok, so he registered this name on 1/26/06 but most of the hacking took place before that. That makes me wonder what his name was on here before that. Did he spam some site where these guys picked up a trojan? Would explain how several 2+2ers suffered the same fate.

35k is a lot of money. This is true online theft at its highest. Hackers get better as each day comes by. I bet a large part of the hackers out there are now starting to target people with large bankrolls on poker accounts.

I used to virus scan on random intervals. After reading multiple threads about people having their accounts hacked with trojans on their machine, I now run McAfee on a daily basis. I hope all 2+2'ers work together to keep this from happing to any of us.

I just got hacked tonight too.... this is no joke guys.. its not too funny when it happens to you...

Ok... You will probably not believe this , because it my my first post... ONLY UNDER THIS NAME, but I assure you its true..

MY ACCOUNT was hacked tonight as well, Was playing earlier, had about 8900 in my account, watched a movie, came back and now I have 6200 in my account... There are AT LEAST 2 tables that I KNOW for a fact I did not sit at...

The weird thing is that this money appears to have disappeared VERY NEAR or even DURING the time I was playing earlier.. Within MINUTES.

Also, when I came back, I had to reboot as my computer was frozen and when I did, there were all kinds of setting changes, including global hooks being enabled.. THIS IS ALWAYS TURNED OFF ON MY MACHINE.

I did a scan and Found Trojan.backdoor.fb on my machine as well..

PLEASE read some of the other posts, I was leery of people saying this, but I assure you someone has found a way to get into some people accounts..

I have Kerio and Norton Firewalls running at all times. I am rtequesting hand histories from Party but they are anything but forthcoming at the moment

you have bumped 2 threads and started your own with the exact same post that you are obviously copying and pasting (even the same typo in the last sentence).

Regardless of whether you were hacked or not you need to stop doing this.

Ok bud... I can see why its not important that this type of thing is not important enough to warrant bumps...

I know I WOULD MUCH RATHER KNOW WHEN SOMEONE GOT 2 OUTED THAN IF MY PARTY ACCOUNT WERE AT RISK

you are bumping the same exact post over and over again.

hmmm..

one possible explanation would be because the original posters may check their threads and be interested... Possibly finding similarities and finding the culprit?

I believe it is warranted without question..

WHY DO YOU NOT SEE WHY????????????
