El D,

Should people looking to get into entrepreneurship start with a relatively simple operation that throws off cash, go with their more complicated ideas from the get-go, or does it not matter?

El D,

I take it you are a successful entrpreneur/self-made businessman. Is there a link to your backstory somewhere so I don't have to sift through a million threads for tidbits? My bagging on this forum aside, I am interested to read it as I will probably try to start my own business in the near future.

Sincerely,

Friendly neighborhood ding-dong.

El D,

I have an idea for a website that seems like it would generate alot of money through advertising. I have no idea how to make it using PHP. Is it worth outsourcing my idea to pay some chinese company to make it/upkeep it (relatively low upkeep, maybe just server upgrades) or should I consider making it myself by teaching myself PHP to save $?

FWIW, I do NOT know how to make decent webpages and I don't know how to make database inquiry software, also there is already a website for the other side of this market (which they can probably expand to if I don't get in on it first).

El D,

I've just recently started to dabble with wine. I prefer red wine. I'm a total wine newbie. I like pinot noir and shiraz. Can you recommend a good one of these wines under $10 from trader joes? I did not like yellow tail too much, it was ok. I thought turning leaf pinot noir was very good (is this a lol?). Thanks.

The company I run now has been very satisfied with outsourcing to Indian IT firms. Elance allows you to get bids on projects and read reviews/samples of their past work. It takes patience with the time zone and cultural differences, but we've found it worthwhile.

cool, what have you found regarding adding functionality to a website later on? this would be like adding a picture field or whatever, also it'd be pretty small, just like a database PHP web application. very small, and fast, not flashy and slow like myspace

Diablo,
How have you been able to convince the forum administrators to work overnight to perform the extremely complicated programming that is required to make your new forum appear on a side bar? I thought this sort of change was something that required weeks of hard work.

El Diablo,

Id really like to expand my drinking taste. I don't like beer at all and I've pretty much stuck to drinking Vodka with either OJ or Red Bull but I'd like to add something more adult and sophisticated. I don't like tonic water.

Ideas for a new vodka drink, and recommendations for a liquor I should try given my affinity for vodka
